“Oh no! I’ve become blind! Noooo!”

-Caleb

“So then you’re not mad at me?” Niall asked me. We had been talking about everything that had happened the night before and I explained how this was not his fault but I just didn’t want to talk to him before I processed everything that had happened. Of course, I didn’t want him to feel like I hated him, because if anything, I liked him… more like I had a crush on him. But I don’t think I could ever hate him.

“Of course not! I already told you it was not your fault at all.” He sighed and I think he felt like a weight was taken off of his shoulders.

“Okay, can we umm move past this?” He asked. I could just see his cerulean eyes in the light, god were they beautiful. He’s so perfect, its like can he not? Oh god I think he was waiting for a response. What had he asked? Oh right!

“Yeah of course!” I smiled.

“On to other things… Harry lied to me!” I stared at him with a puzzled expression. I think he saw me and explained. “He told me he hadn’t seen you at all but apparently he did cause he was with you!”

Ohhhhh! Now I got it. Well truth be told I had asked Harry to lie to Niall for me since I didn’t really wanna talk to anyone. Ugh I didn’t even wanna talk about things that reminded me of what happened.

“Niall, don’t be mad at him, I told him to lie to you. I’m sorry but can we please not talk about anything that has to do with this. Please?” I asked.

“Fine.” He rolled his eyes and then smiled. “Anyways, where’s Caleb? I haven’t se—“ He was interrupted by the door opening dramatically.

“Aaaaaaand Caleb’s in the house!” He practically screamed, I thought we might get complaints. “Yeeeeeah! Yeaaaah!” He said with a scruffy voice as if people were cheering him on. Oh no! I think he was drunk. “Woooooooooooo!” He screamed. Nope, he was definitely drunk.

Flashback…

It was spring break on our senior year and we had decided to go to Cancun, Mexico and stay at a beach house that Caleb’s parents owned. Anyways, there was like absolutely no high school students there whatsoever, there were only college students and we were ready for some fun!

The first day we got there we were having fun and all. We were underage but with a bit of flirting done by Charlie, she had gotten Phebs, Lucy, Em and I some drinks plus guys we could talk to, obviously except for Phebs since she had her 2 year long boyfriend back at home. They were so cute together it sometimes made me gag. I’m just kidding but they were really cute. Anyways, we had some fun and decided that at night we were not gonna party but instead just go out to eat some dinner and then the rest of the nights we could then party like there was no tomorrow. Especially Charlie and I, since we had made a promise our junior year that we would go “yolo,” per se, our senior year. Not enough to have sex since we were waiting for the right time but still get to second base with guys.

That night, we had gone to a seafood place to eat dinner… worst decision ever since the following day I was puking my guts out like no tomorrow. At night I had told Caleb and the girls to go out and party but they kept saying no and that they were going to stay and take care of me. So much for “the unforgettable spring break 2012” we had planned.

“No guys. Go out! As long as I got my good old bucket here,” I said as I clutched the bucket, “and reruns of ‘How I Met Your Mother’ playing, I’m all good! Go!” I said.

“Even when sick she’s grouchy,” Caleb mumbled, thinking I couldn’t hear him.

“I heard that Caleb! Now if you don’t want me to throw a bucket of my puke to you, y’all will go out and have fun!” I said. A couple of ‘fine’s and ‘let’s go then’s were heard and I smiled in victory.
