Ocean eyes (Chap. 3)

[A/N Ok first off am I the only one who really likes Eren's eye color in the anime? I mean it's such a pretty eye color like seriously!]

Levi's POV

When Hanji and I walked into the building she called out the boy's name "EREN!" She yelled out. A boy came out from behind one of the book shelves. "Hanji keep your voice down." He shushed her by putting his pointer finger to his lips then chuckled.

Hanji grabbed my wrist and pulled me to the brat. "Eren this is Levi. Levi this is Eren." She explained. I looked up at the brat he was a couple inches taller than me but his eyes where a fascinating color. They were a mixture of blue and green like the ocean.

Wait, what...

The boy looked down at me "Um, it's nice to meet you Levi." He said with a smile. "Likewise" I say back not caring which instantly I received a hard slap on the back by Hanji. "Ow! What the fuck shitty glasses!" I growl at her. "I told yooou to be nice." She says. "Tch." I say in response.

"Sorry about his attitude he's like an old grump" she says apologetically. "Old? I'm 18 for your information." I say back with a glare. The brat chuckled nervously "So why are you here? This library isn't that special." He says shifting his weight to his other leg. "Well shorty here-" "What did you just call me?" "Levi don't interrupt me. Anyways he wants to get a job here."

The brat nodded in response "I'll show you to the back so you can sign up for an interview." He says then leads us to the back of the library where the staff's place is.
"So what made you want to work here all of a sudden? If it's personal you don't have to say." He says nervously. What's up with this kid? "No it's fine, I was kicked out of my house and four eyes here is letting me stay at her place until I get enough money to pick myself up." I explain as I fill out the form.

He smiles at Hanji "That was very kind of you Hanji." He says. "Someone had to help this lost cause!" She says. "I'm not a lost cause." I say and glare at her. "Oh cheer up." She says with a stupid grin. "Tch. Why don't you shut the fuck up four eyes it's giving me a head ache." I growl while rubbing my temples in frustration.

"Um could you try not cuss, it's really disrespectful to the elders here." He says. I look at him "Does it look like I give a fuck brat." I say. "S-sorry sir." He stutters shyly. "Don't call me sir it makes me feel like I'm in my 30s." I say to him. "Oh... well I'm 17" he says. I look at him a little shocked. "You look like you're 15 at least, not 17." I say. He laughs "My family looks younger than our actual age." He says.

Now that I look at him he has really cute facial features. Whoa...Levi slow down you don't even know the brat that well. I look away noticing that I had started to stare at the brat and that he started to blush slightly in embarrassment.

I cleared my throat "Anyway just give me a call if I get the interview my number is on the paper. I'll be leaving now" I say and walk towards the exit "Hey Levi." He asked. "What brat?" I respond looking at him. "It was nice meeting you, I hope to see you soon." He said with a smile. I just nod in response not trusting my voice at the moment.

I exited the library, Hanji not to far behind. "Sooo, What cha think about Eren." She asked me. I shrugged "He seems like a good kid, well mannered." I say and get into her sad excuse of a car. She gets in to the drivers side of it. "Nothing to special you noticed about him?" She asked me. "He had a fascinating eye color...it reminded me of the ocean" I say without thinking. She grinned at me "What's with the stupid grin shitty glasses?" I ask her.

"Oh nothing, nothing at all." She says then pulls out of the parking lot and drives back to her place.
