Questions (Chapter 8)

Levi's Pov

I went back "home" only to be greeted by a overly happy Hanji. "Welcome home Shorty!" She says was a smile and a hug lifting me off the ground. "Put me the fuck down Shitty Glasses!" I yell at her.

She laughs then puts me down. I brush myself off. "How was the first day of work?" She asks. I knew she wanted details and I wasn't giving her any. "Boring" I said bluntly. "Oh really?" She says prying at me for more. "Hanji I'm not telling you anything." I say then go to my room.

Hanji's Pov

I huff after Levi goes to his room. "Fine. I'll just call Eren then." I say to myself then call up gayger. What? He's gay as fuck.

"Hello?" Says Eren from the other line. "HI! Eren tell me what happened at work today!" I say excitedly. "Stuff just happened." He says obviously hiding something. "What kind of stuff?" I pry. "I-I kissed Levi..." he stutters. Hearing this I start to fangirl. "Omg seriously!?" I say even more excited. "Y-yeah." He says stuttering again.

"Mission accomplished!" I say in victory. "What does that mean!?" He says suddenly confused. "Oh nothing! Bye Eren!" I say. "Wait te-" I hang up the phone before he could finish.

Eren's Pov

I put my phone down on my bed and shoved my face into my pillow. I can't believe what happened today.

The scene before he left wouldn't stop playing in my head and it was driving me up the wall. "I'm an idiot." I say to myself.

I hear a knock on my door. "Eren dinner is ready and Armin came over." Says my adopted sister Mikasa. "Ok, I'll be out in a bit." I say.

I got out of bed and went downstairs. "Hi Eren." Says my childhood friend Armin. "Hey Armin." I say with a smile at him. He smiles back. "Armin, Eren, Mikasa dinner is ready." My mom calls from the kitchen.

We all grab a plate and sit at the table. "How was work today sweetheart?" My mom asks me. "It was a little more eventful." I say remembering Levi. "Oh? Eventful how?" My mom asks. "We got a new employee." I say.

"What's their name?" Mikasa asks. "His name is Levi." I say to her. "Levi...I don't like the sound of them." Mikasa says protectively. "Mika I'm not a child anymore you don't have to protect me." I say pouting.

Armin just smiles and laughs a bit at us. "So what's this "Levi" like?" Armin asks. I look at my plate. "He's kinda rude and uses very rude language but he seems like he could be a nice guy." I say. Mikasa frowns and my mom smiles.

"What does he look like?" My mom asks me. "Um... he has raven colored hair cut into a undercut, He's shorter than me by like 3 inches, he always wears this scowl on his face, and he has steel blue eyes." I say remembering Levi's facial features.

"You remember all of that in just one day?" Armin asks surprised. I nod my head slowly not sure if he was hinting at something. "Aww does my little boy have a crush?" My mom teases me. I start to blush. "N-no I don't mom." I say then pout.

"Well anyway do you guys have anymore questions?" I ask them. "Why are you so interested in him?" Mikasa asks softly pulling her scarf up over her mouth and nose. "What was that Mika?" I asks not quite hearing her. "I said why are you so interested in him Eren?" She speaks up, letting go of the scarf.

I was a bit taken back by the question. "Um...because I like making new friends. I don't want to be enemies with the people I work with." I say making up an excuse. "Eren your ears are red. You're lieing." My mom says. "Really mom?! Fine I'll tell you." I say then look down at my lap and fiddle with the end of my shirt.

"Well tell us Eren" says Armin. I take a deep breath. "I like him ok." I say then cover my face with my hands in embarrassment. "Aww hun. It's ok you know that I will always love you right?" My mom says honestly. "Yeah I know." I say with a smile my blush fading away a bit.

After we all ate dinner I finished my homework and got ready for bed. I wonder if I'll see Levi at school tomorrow. I shrug then go to bed. Letting my fatigue drift me to sleep.
