remember how you used to tutor me English?
i have a confession to make now. i was intentionally flunking my tests just to see you every Wednesday afternoon. I messed up my tenses and punctuation and grammar just to hear you laugh.
of course i knew to say "Let's eat, Grandma", but i intentionally left out the comma to see you smile. you probably don't know that, but i lived for every smile you gave me, and i lived for every Wednesday.
i still remember how i purposely left a note saying "your beautiful. i loves you". you corrected me halfway before realizing what i meant. then you dipped your head, and blushed a deep h e l i o t r o p e.
i remember how it was the most beautiful thing i ever saw.
