“What’s this?” I asked Jeremy pointing at a pretty envelope that lay on my table.
“It’s called an Envelope you dummy. And inside it, is the Invitation.” He said it like he is stating the most obvious, which wasn’t.
“Invitation for what exactly?” I asked again still lost.
“Ha ha. Right. You don’t know.” Jeremy replied making a face.
This is annoying. “No Jeremy I don’t know. What is it for?” I asked opening the envelope while Jeremy stared at me in confusion. Then again why is he confused? And then I saw what the invitation was for…
“The annual anniversary of the studio” I see now why it was obvious.
“Where were you this whole time? When Chelsea was all insane about the guest lists and chased me around for contacts, or when Destiny was ditching the schedules to do everyone’s shopping for dresses? Party was the only topic this whole time for nearly two weeks.” Jeremy said.
“I was busy with Frank. I wasn’t here much… remember?”
“Yeah… So how’s everything going? Did he get an agent yet?” asked Jeremy.
“Nope. And he won’t get one until the recording contract is over. He might get one right after the album launch though. And then I’ll be free.” I replied.
“I heard he gives you tough times huh?” he asked narrowing his eyes.
Good question. He does most of the time. But lately, something seems different about him. Except for being straight of course! Well… who knows? He is Frank Epstein after all. You never know.
“He does sometimes. I think it’s just because he’s new to this whole thing you know… being a star, an icon, famous, attitudes and stuff. But he’s doing fine.”
“AJ said he yelled at you in the set several times. If it bothers you, you can always tell Hills or me.” Said Jeremy tapping my shoulder.
“In other words complain right? I know I can Jeremy. But I know for a fact that it’s not going to be any easier for another person to do what I do. Three months now, I know how to handle the guy.” I replied smiling.
“Whatever you say Mindy… whatever you say.” Said Jeremy chuckling and walking away.
“What’s that suppose to mean?”
“Nothing much. See you later hun.”

“No Frank. It’s not about what they said. It’s about what they DID NOT say!” I yelled as I tried to make my point clear.
“What do you mean not say?” asked him.
“Did they tell you that you won’t be able to join other agencies after their agreement? Or that no other agent can book you for modeling? Or commercials?” I asked.
“Oh” was his reply.
“Oh? Really Frank? Are you Blonde?”
To which he chuckled and replied, “I was” and winked.
Like that would help. “Did you sign?” I finally asked. Which I should have asked after he mentioned the conditions. before yelling at him on the first place.
“Thought you’d never ask. I didn’t by the way. Because I didn’t like the agent that I might get. He stares. Totally uncomfortable. Totally!” he said scrunching his nose and flipping his fingers.
“You are so gay.” I replied smiling away and looking through the window of the car. “Or Bi” I added later.
Usually I do my transportation through studio vehicles since it’s easier. But some days Frank picks me up, like today. Sometimes when he drives he keeps as silent as dead. But other times he gets the chatty mood and babbles about random things like guys, clothes, boots, cars and makeup.
“Did you get the invitation?” I asked him as it just crossed my mind.
“Yeah I did. You are coming right?”
“Haven’t decided yet” I replied honestly. Parties aren’t exactly my favorite thing to do. Crowds make me uncomfortable.
“What? Why?” asked Frank.
“Just…” said I.
“Oh. Ok.” Said Frank as he parked in front of the Café.
“So I assume that you’ll be there, right?” I asked him.
“It depends on what interest me to be there.” He said getting out of the car.
“Guys or girls?” I asked putting on my teasing grin. And he rolled his eyes in reply.
