Next morning...

I woke up around 6:30 damn how did i wake up so early on a school day.
I got ready quick. I guess its one of those rare days where the morning is smooth.

my outfit for today is a dark green tank top and white high waisted jeans. my shoes were black sandals. I tied my hair into a loose ponytail to do my makeup.
I remember i used to get cute good morning texts from Ethan but now it feels so different but great.

"Honey!! breakfast is ready!" my mom yelled from downstairs.

I hopped down the stairs.
On the table was chocolate chip pancakes. my favorite.

"Thank you so much mom!" i hugged her happily.
"Hey Ethan is babysitting today." She closed the fridge.

i sighed. "Uhm, i might not be able to be at home."

"Why? i thought you loved helping him take care of jace."

"Well its his job to babysit him, ya know." i stuffed one slice of pancakes in my mouth.

"True, but where will you be?" she asked.

"Probably hanging out with Ari and Gail, if not, im probably be at red mango and do homework there."

"okay, just be back before 9." She kissed my forehead.

"where's jace?"

"hes still sleeping. Nursery starts at 10."

I nodded. Jace is such a heavy sleeper, once he falls asleep you can never wake him up.

Soon i got a text from Ari.

Ariana🚀-Hey girl! you up?
Me- First time up before 7 hbu
Ariana🚀- nice, can i come over and we'll walk from there.
Me- sure my mom made choco chip pancakes :)
Ariana🚀- rushing to come over there, be there in 5

I hopped onto the couch and turned on the tv. A few mintues later Ari rang the bell.

"I'll get it!" Mom yelled from the upstairs.

"i was lazy to get up anyways!" i laughed.

Mom opened the door.
"Hi Mrs. Alana! Im Ariana, Vicki's bestfriend."

"Hi im so glad to meet you, and please, call me Naomi."

"You too."

I jumped off the couch and greeted Ari.
We sat on the couch awkwardly cause my mom was singing JB songs.

"Oh baby you should and love yourselff"

Ari looked at me and tried not to laugh.

"God your mom is so lit." she kept a straight face.
"Oh no..."

She looked around.
"Damn Vick your house is huge!"

"Ariana do you want anything to eat?" mom asked.

"Do you still have left over pancakes?"

"We have plenty!" She placed the plate of leftover pancakes she made with the leftover batter.
