I sat in the living room watching TV. Nate was upstairs recording something. I watched as Freddy came through peoples dreams and slaughtered them. I shivered feeling a breeze and grabbed a blanket. Blood splatters on the walls as Freddy broke through a human body. I lay my head on my knee getting a little tired. A hand lays on my back making me jump slightly,
"Its just me." I smiled lightly as he sat next to me. After a few minutes, Brett and Shady showed up. I went upstairs to take a shower. I took off my shirt and stood in front of the mirror before turning the light on. I froze seeing the sight in front of me. Scratches covered my stomach, fresh blood spreads and covered my hands. I held back a scream and shake my head,
"Nate." I stare at myself in horror,
"Nate!!!" Tears stream from my eyes as I hear rushing footsteps. Nate came to view in the mirror making me look at him,
"Jesus, Stacey!" I shake my head,
"I-I didn't know."
"I know, baby, just calm down. Its okay."
"I'm sorry." He kissed my head before leaving the room. Minutes later he came back with the first aid kit and I sat on the counter. He cleaned off the marks and wrapped my torso before looking at me. Tears were still running from my eyes and he wiped them away. He held me against him,
"I'm so sorry."
"Hey, its okay. Baby, look at me." I looked at him through teary eyes. He kissed me passionately making me smile gently,
"You didn't know what you were doing. It happens to everyone." I bit the inside of my lip. He held me tightly making me sigh,
"I'm not mad. I understand." I nodded,
"Need help with your shower?" I gave him a look,
"No, Nate, I don't need help." He chuckles making me roll my eyes,
"Just thought I'd ask." I giggled as he walks out. I got in the shower and cleaned up while the hot water relaxes my muscles. After I got out and got dressed, I went downstairs and held the bunny. I looked outside watching Brett and Shady shove each other playfully. Nate smiles at me making me giggle. He came and opened the window then sat next to me,
"You like that bunny don't you?" I nodded giving him a goofy smile making him chuckle. I hiss feeling the bunny's leg dig into my stomach,
"They still hurt?" I shrugged,
"Not really, I guess." He moved closer to me and took me in his arms. I lay my head on his shoulder. For the first time in a long time, I felt like I had nothing else left.
