Chapter 2- Sweatshirts and Bullies

            After the encounter with Leafy, Lainey had been in a great mood. Meeting your idol isn't an everyday thing. She was smiling basically the rest of the day. She went to bed smiling and replaying what had happened earlier that day. The next morning was Monday. A school day. Lainey hated school more then she hated Leafy's haters. She had been in that school for about two weeks now, and she still hadn't found any friends. Although, she already had a bully. Her name was Sabrina. (A/n you see what I did there? 😏) 

                Lainey ate breakfast quickly and got ready. She wore leggings, converse, and a reptilian army sweatshirt. She even wore a black snap back, because  why not. She knew she looked a lot like leafy but she was totally ok with that. She grabbed her backpack, and her parents drove her to school.

          The first class that day was math, which was her least favorite. But this class was different. There was a new kid, whose name was Reed. The only emty seat was next to Lainey, so he sat there. After a few minutes, reed started wispering to Lainey. "I like your sweatshirt. I love Leafyishere." Reed whispered. "Thanks. I'm Lainey" "nice to meet you Lainey, I'm Reed" Lainey was finally making her first friend at this school and he had so many things in common with her. They whispered about random things until they got caught, and scolded.

                After school, Lainey tried to avoid Sabrina as always, but didn't quite succeed. "Hey lizard f*cker" said Sabrina with a smirk. "Hello Sabrina." Lainey said trying to push past the other girl. "Not so fast you disgusting freak"Sabrina said blocking her. " What do you want Sabrina" " I just wanted to tell you that you look absolutely horrible, you stupid f*ggot. Also why are you dressed like that  f*cking twerp leafy again?" "Because he's great. Now get out of my way" Sabrina responded by punching her in the stomach, but she wasn't that strong, so Lainey was fine. Lainey punched her back much harder, and ran to the bus.

            Lainey walked into the hall way, where their apartment was, and bumped into Clavin. She blushed as she notice they were wearing the exact same thing. The same sweatshirt, the same converse, everything. "Nice sweatshirt." Calvin said chuckling. "Haha, same to you." the girl said smiling. 

             She walked into her apartment, and it was empty as always, because her parents were still at work for a few more hours. She hated being alone, especially at night, which is why when her parents went out at night, She needed a baby sitter, even though she was already 12. Lainey put off doing her home work, so she could watch YouTube. She watched some older leafy videos that she hadn't seen yet, and then went on to re-watching the funniest ones. 

           Her parents came home, and after eating dinner, went to do her home work. While she was working though, she heard from the adjacent apartment, " PLAY THAT SH*T". Lainey knew exactly what Calvin was doing and chuckled as she continued her homework. Once she was done, she got ready for bed, and ended up watching sown more YouTube for a while before actually going to sleep.
