The day had passed by; the sun was high in the sky still with the clouds starting to thicken up. Standing by the back window with the coat still held tight to him by his crotch, Isaac stared out at the sun hoping and praying that it would set any time soon. Elena stomped down the stairs holding a book in her hair as her eyes scanned across the beautifully written words displayed across the page. His eyes shot in the direction of her as she paid no attention to him, she made her way over to the sofa, slumping down on it with her eyes still locked on the page in front of her. He rolled his eyes and turned his head back towards the window as he gazed out at the yard.

"They weren't wrong about you then," he said breaking the silence.

"What?" She asked with her eyes not leaving the book, "That I'm rather odd, that I'm peculiar?"

"No, that you've got your nose stuck in a book," he answered, "And that you're odd."

"Coming from a guy who transforms into a wolf every full moon," she shot back at him.

"Fair enough," he nodded with agreement.

"Why haven't you gone?" She asked him with her eyes still not leaving the book, "It's not as if there will be anybody looking now, they're probably out having their dinners, or sitting down to have their dinners."

"You're the one who told me to stay," he snarled.

"And now I'm telling you to go," she snarled back, "You think that I want to have an asshole here with me, it's bad enough that I have Damon sniffing everywhere I go."

"You're not comparing me to Damon again, are you?" He frowned angrily, "Because you know that I hate being compared to him, I am nothing like him."

"Yeah, you keep telling me that," she smirked cynically as she dropped her book down to her lap, "But what you keep saying and what you're doing are two completely different things, you see, Isaac," she smiled cynically once more, "You've been here since last night and all you've done is been cruel to me, and downright rude. You know, most people would've said thank you to me by now seeing as I saved your life but no, you're still making everything about you." She placed her book down on the sofa as she stood up and placed both of her hands on her hips, "Something similar that Damon would do. You see, you're making everything about you, again something that Damon would do, and not once," she started to walk over to him, "Not once have you said, gee Elena, thank you for picking me up last night and bringing you back to your place where you looked after me, tended to my wounds, bandaged me up, made sure that nothing got infected, thank you so much for that'."

"Like I said," he narrowed his eyes, "I could've heeled all by myself."

"You're seriously not gonna apologise?" She laughed cynically, "Oh my god, when I saw the picture of you, when I heard how kind and considerate you were, I thought oh my god, this could be the guy for me, but you know what, they were all wrong about you, I was wrong about you because you're nothing like that guy. You're rude, mean and just disgusting. I have no idea what I saw in you and frankly, I don't even wanna see your face again. So," she walked over to the door and opened it, gesturing with her right hand for him to leave, "There's the door, you can leave through it and I never, ever wanna see you again."

"Even though they said that you were odd," he frowned, "They said that you were kind, I don't see that at all."

"Oh yeah," she said angrily, "Because a horrible person would bring you back to their house, make sure that you're okay and make sure that you're not dead, yeah," she said sarcastically through the anger, "Yeah, a horrible person would do that, wouldn't they?" She pointed outside, "Just go, now."
