Pete paced up and down my bedroom. "We're so stupid!".
Brendon and I looked at each other and then at him and said "what?".
"A demon can only possess a living spirit" he said.
"So you're saying.." I said..shocked.
"This son of a bitch is out there and we're going to find it"
Brendon smiled at me and took my hand "we can do it dollface"

I walked through school. It was a rainy day and we had a free period since our Spanish teacher was running late. I walked up to my locker which was right near the janitors closet and that's when I thought all about brendon. His smile,laugh, everything. I felt my cheeks get hot. I opened my locker but that's when I heard something.
Kissing
I laughed, thinking that when I opened the door I would see some freshman couple or something.
I saw something else.
I saw Brendon making out with some girl. My face dropped. His did too. "Lexi.." He said. "Dont even brendon" I said, shoving my books into my locker and walking away, feeling tears in my eyes. I walked up to my car and jammed my keys in the door but it wouldn't open. Brendon was behind me in the pouring rain. "Go away" I mumbled,still fumbling with the keys. "I love you" he said quietly. I ignored him, although my heart stopped at his words. "I sleep around with all these girls to try to get you off of my mind. And you know what? It doesn't work. I'm in love with you. Head over heels. You're beautiful, smart and you're just amazing." He said. "Brendon I know how you feel. I was awake. I heard everything you said in the hospital." I said, still not turning around. "Bren, I feel the same way. You do all this crazy shit yet here I am. I love you too okay?" I said, turning around with tears in my eyes. "Now please let me go home and forget about everything for a little while.". He looked at me. "We're still on for exorcising the hell out of this demon at Petes house tonight?" He said, his voice barely a whisper. I nodded a little. "I'll pick you up." I nodded again. "See you soon dollface" and he left.
