Chapter 11

*Liam's POV*

The final bell rang, signalling the end to the school day. I grabbed my bag and waved at Niall and Zayn as they walked out with the girls. They gave me their worried faces, but I just waved them off. Then I turned to Harry and was greeted with a smile.

"Ready to go to my house, Li?" Harry asked and I smiled at him.

"Yeah. Let's just stop by my locker to put my books away, then we can get going," I said and walked out of class with him.

"Sure," Harry said and we walked in the same pace. I noticed that people were staring at us and were probably whispering about us. I rolled my eyes at them and sighed.

"Just ignore them, Harry. They don't know what they're talking about," I said to Harry as we reached my locker.

Harry stayed silent and nodded. I turned to him after closing my locker and saw that he looked distant, thinking hard about something. "Harry? Are you okay?"

He blinked and looked at me. "Yeah, I'll be fine. Let's get going," he said with a smile and pulled me to his car.

"You know, I still have to drive myself to your house. My car is here," I pointed out.

"I can drive you to my house. You can drive your car to your house, and I'll drive us from there to mine. Sound good?" Harry suggested, smiling at me.

"How am I gonna get home after? Unless you're gonna drive me home again?" I asked curiously.

"Yeah, of course I am! Okay, I'll follow you when we drive to your house and you can just hop in my car after," Harry said happily and walked away to his car.

That was weird... I shook my head and got in my car. I pulled out of the parking lot and saw Harry following behind.

Just have to get through this drive home, and then off to Harry's house. I wonder how his house will look like? How about his family?

I parked my car at home and gestured at Harry that I was just gonna grab something from my house. I saw Harry nod and I turned to run up to my house with my bag.

I opened the door and immediately got attacked to the ground by 2 big, brown and black fur balls. I felt wet licks on my face and pushed them carefully off me. I opened my eyes to see 2 german shepherd dogs. I laughed and petted them both. They licked me again and I stood up.

I heard laughter and footsteps coming towards me and I looked to see my parents.

"Hi mum and dad. What are these 2 dogs doing here?" I asked my parents as I petted the dogs again. They barked happily, wagging their tails uncontrollably.

"You like them, sweetie? Cuz we just bought them today for you," Mum asked, smiling at me.

"You bought them for me? Why?" I asked curiously. The dogs were walking around me and sniffing me. They finally sat in front of me, as if waiting for me to command them to do something.

"We thought you could use some company when your mum and I are out," Dad said.

"Yeah. we just wanted you to feel safe when you were home alone. We tought German shepherd dogs were the best kind of guard dogs there is. They're very easy to train," Mum added.

"Okay, that's great! But why did you get 2 of them? Not that I don't like them both, but just wondering," I said, petting MY dogs now, apparently.

"We were just going to get one of them, but these 2 came as a package deal apparently. So we just decided to get them both," Dad replied, petting one of the dogs.
