Under no circumstances, once so ever, say, theater, instead of the correct term, theatre. Notice it's theatre, with an re, not er. Why? Because Theatre, is defining the art form of acting, singing, and dancing.
Theater, is the place where the art of acting, singing, and dancing, is performed. It infuriates us theatre kids. Literally do not say it around any theatre junkie or you will be punched in the gut.
