[PRIMROSE SERIES #1] Jack Maxwell is about to have it all- become Primrose High's starting running back by junior year, a quarterback position by senior year, and an athletic scholarship that takes the cake- he is willing and able to get what he wants. There's only one condition: he has to lead a team outside of his own field. Lauren Danielle Hollister is getting her work cut out for her by having the future of Primrose football step behind the curtains of a stage spotlight. More so if the theatre members are convinced that her dad, the football coach, pulled some strings to have Jack be in charge as lighting designer for the most awaited show of the year. Set in the 90s, this tells the life of Catherine "Cathy" who relives the past before she gain success as a renowned Broadway actress and how she ended up fulfilling her childhood dreams. This also tells the story of the people who fight for their dreams with a different walks of life in the city who never sleeps.

We used to call each other by our second names, but after all those stupidity moments in middle school and now that we’re in our senior year in high school, I always call him 'Declan' instead of 'Romeo' and he calls me 'Bailey' instead of 'Juliet'." Through the annoyances, screams, prank calls, stone pebbles, food fights, and even dog poop, they must learn to manage the rage between them for the sake of this year's school play, considering their last year in highschool. With the past they had shared and a very interesting present they have, how will they be able to act as the main roles of the Shakespearean play that, for sure will lead them to embarrassment, contrary to happiness and joy of their crazy parents? And how will they fight each others feelings that were interrupted way back in middle school? But one thing is for sure, they would always set up tragedies for one another. "For never was a story of more woe than this of Juliet and her Romeo."

In February of 2016, Marion High School student were all casted roles within a playwright of these novels. Like any thespian, we began to tinker with our characters in unusual ways, trying to figure them out. Within the spur of a moment, my fellow cast and I began to venture deeper into our characters. The result of this? Our characters back stories. What brought each character to Wonderland? And what made the characters who they are? What events took place to give each character their temperaments, wisdom, personality, etcetera? This piece is a mismatched compilation of each actor/actresses take on their character. "Are you feeling alright, Noah?" I looked around the room with utter confusion. Lights, cameras, and several people surrounded me as I lay on the cold wooden floor of a stage. Where was I? Who were these people? As i look to my left I catch a familiar face, "Bailee?" Her eyebrows furrowed and her lips parted, letting out a sigh. She whispered to the man next to her, giving me glances every once in a while. The person to my right cleared his throat, letting out an unfamiliar voice, "Who do you think you are?" I paused for a second, thinking about the simple question. "I'm Oliver," I said, as that was the one thing i was sure of. "This is worse than we thought. He thinks he's his character from the show."

He is the most popular guy in the grade and acts like he owns the place, which isn't far off seeing his mom is principal. He has the head cheerleader for a girlfriend and biggest bigot in school as his best friend. What happens when Dawson finds himself being attracted to the one person he shouldn't want? Hello Friends! SO I have been recently been in a heck of a lot of plays and musicals! And I just ended two shows, so now I'm going through post theater depression and I need an outlet to pass the time until my next audition (other than dancing around to Broadway musicals original cast soundtracks what is my life I'm sad) So recently I've been reading some monologues and I got inspired to take a stab at them myself. Hopefully I can get some feedback on this one and see what people think! LOL what am I doing this is a terrible idea no is gonna like it THEY ARE GONNA THROW TOMATOES INTERNET TOMATOES- Sorry guys, panic attack. hahahahahahahaha acting anyway hope if you are reading this you enjoy it. Once every ten years, on the night of midsummer's heart, a performance is held in the secluded village of Saepita. It is a grand spectacle, with every villager serving their part in it. After a decade of preparation, a considerable amount of effort is given in order to appease a very critical audience, an audience they hope will not grow.

This story is what I imagine as a result of a large portion of Broadway shows being mashed together. I have not done any research on what productions have been performed in the majestic theater so it is all from my imagination. This story is full of Broadway references but is is not limited to Broadway nerds.

Come to the dark side ... We have tap shoes and musicals about pretty much anything .. No really literally everything .. They made an entire musical about cats ... CATS ... Ca..
