I know I already made one of these, but that was last year's. This one is for this year.

This story is what I imagine as a result of a large portion of Broadway shows being mashed together. I have not done any research on what productions have been performed in the majestic theater so it is all from my imagination. This story is full of Broadway references but is is not limited to Broadway nerds.

A story about the time I told my parents I was going to be a thespian.

Chip is a young man, a quiet introvert who doesn't have the most self confidence. Instead of being able to enjoy a quiet drink and think about life in isolation (thanks for making this relevant, COVID), until he's thrust unwillingly into the spotlight and has to make a tough decision on the fly. An exercise in YA fiction about a young man who finds himself in a strange situation in a bar.

Hello Friends! SO I have been recently been in a heck of a lot of plays and musicals! And I just ended two shows, so now I'm going through post theater depression and I need an outlet to pass the time until my next audition (other than dancing around to Broadway musicals original cast soundtracks what is my life I'm sad) So recently I've been reading some monologues and I got inspired to take a stab at them myself. Hopefully I can get some feedback on this one and see what people think! They have been friends for five long years, and they thought their relantionship was nothing but platonic. Set in the 90s, this tells the life of Catherine "Cathy" who relives the past before she gain success as a renowned Broadway actress and how she ended up fulfilling her childhood dreams. This also tells the story of the people who fight for their dreams with a different walks of life in the city who never sleeps.

"Are you feeling alright, Noah?" I looked around the room with utter confusion. Lights, cameras, and several people surrounded me as I lay on the cold wooden floor of a stage. Where was I? Who were these people? As i look to my left I catch a familiar face, "Bailee?" Her eyebrows furrowed and her lips parted, letting out a sigh. She whispered to the man next to her, giving me glances every once in a while. The person to my right cleared his throat, letting out an unfamiliar voice, "Who do you think you are?" I paused for a second, thinking about the simple question. "I'm Oliver," I said, as that was the one thing i was sure of. "This is worse than we thought. He thinks he's his character from the show."
