Question 2: Jealous?

Chara was just laying in her bed when Frisk entered in a hurry. Chara shot up and looked at Frisk with a curious look.

"Where are you off to in such a hurry?" She asked as he got some clothes of a hanger from within his wardrobe.

"Well, I forgot I had to lunch with Papyrus today!" He answered quickly as he began to iron his clothes. It seems he was gonna wear a suit... out for lunch?

"Well why are you dressing so formally?" She asked, hopping of the bed.

"Because we're eating in a fancy restaurant", he answered as he took his clothes into the bathroom. He soon came out wearing a persian blue suit with a lilac tie and a frost white shirt with a pinned collar.

Chara's jaw instantly dropped.

Frisk chuckled. "Ok can I go now? Or are you still staring?" He smirked once he saw Chara blush.

"I'm just making sure there aren't any...um stains..." she lied.

"M'hmm" He said as he walked out the door. Right as he closed the door, Chara felt something inside her.... like... a sort of feeling... like a rush of anger or a sea of envy. She decided to ask Toriel about these feelings when Frisk left. Once he did, Chara tugged at Toriel's sleeve.

"What is it my child?" She asked and turned round. Chara rubbed her arm nervously.

"Um... mom? When I heard that Frisk was going to a fancy restaurant in fancy clothes with Papyrus, I started to feel... angry and envious of Papyrus... do you know why?" She asked aftet she explained her situation.

"Hahaha" she laughed which angered Chara.

"Stop laughing at me mother!" She whined. Toriel whiped a small tear from her eye.

"I'm sorry my child... that's called jealousy. It's how you feel when someone else has something you want." She explained. Chara's eyes widened.

"A-Are you saying I'm j-jealous that Frisk is with Papyrus instead of with me?!" She stuttered as she felt her cheeks heat up.

"Don't you worry my child. It's ok to get jealous, Frisk gets jealous of you too, you know?" She answered with a grin.

"H-He d-does?!" Chara stuttered.

"Yes. For example, he's jealous of how beautiful your eyes look and how confident you were when you were trying to break the barrier... there were more but he wouldn't tell me.... hm... I wonder why..." Toriel told Chara. Chara was shocked. Frisk?... jealous of someone like her...?

"Are you jealous of anything else Frisk has?" Toriel asked.

"W-Well... I'm jealous of how... determined he is. He has more determination than anyone I've ever known. A-And how he can make friends with everyone he meets! Also... his smile... his smile is just so care-free and full of life!" She explained until she realised what she just said... she just said she was jealous of that sparing dork!

'Wow... he's really changed me huh?...'
