Dare 9: Scaring Chara

Frisk had another idea. He was gonna scare Chara. She scared him with that movie called 'The Ring' so now, it was her turn. But, what would Chara be scared of? The dark? No. Clowns? Definitely not considering she dressed up as a killer clown for halloween once. Spiders? Nope, she killed a few last week. Maybe he should ask Flowey.

"Hey Flowey?" Frisk asked as he walked towards the window sill.

"What is it idiot? Can't you see I'm enjoying the sun?"

"But the sun's gone"

"... anyway, what do you want?"

"Do you know what Chara's afraid of?" Frisk asked. Flowey looked at him in disbelief.

"You, want to scare.... Chara?" Flowey asked with a stiffled laugh. "Ha! As if you could scare her! I me-"

"Just tell me what she's afraid of!" Frisk interrupted.

"Fine, she's afraid of dolls" Flowey answered. Frisk looked at him confused.

"Dolls? Why is she afraid of dolls?" He asked.

"I don't know! Ask her about that!" Flowey snapped and turned towards the window. Frisk sighed and went to the living room. He thought about what movie they could go see. What movies about dolls are there that Chara's never seen?... there are probably alot... hm... what's one that he's seen though so he wouldn't be scared. Wait he's not even scared of dolls, it's just the jumpscares that get him.

Suddenly he had an idea, he saw this movie called 'Child's play' before; he's seen it about as many times as it takes for him to know what happens next and to keep a straight face during the jumpscares. It's perfect. Now, to take it even further... maybe he should buy a Chucky doll. Just to make sure she doesn't show him a horror film ever again unless he knew the film, or else he would have to show her the other sequels.

Soon, Chara came in to the room.

"Hey Frisk, what's up?" Chara greeted.

"I was just thinking if you would want to see a movie with me tonight" he said with a slight smirk.

"Hm? What movie?"

"Child's play" he replied. Chara stiffled a laugh.

"C-Child's play? It sounds like... well, child's play" Chara said with a laugh. "Sure, it's not a childish cartoon is it?"

"No. And what makes you think I'd make you watch a childish cartoon?" Frisk scoffed.

"Well, you just seem like that type" she said with a smirk. Frisk hit her with a pillow gently.

"I'm not a baby!" He whined.

"No, you whine way more than a baby" she repied.

"I do nooooot!" He whined again. Chara laughed.

"Whatever you say, I'll tell mom we'll be watching a movie tonight" she said and left the room. Frisk smirked. Tonight was gonna be fun.

☆Later☆

Frisk had everything set up. He alreadt started the movie and just paused it so she wouldn't know it was about dolls. And he put a Chucky doll in her bed, covered by her blankets while she was preparing the snacks.

"Ok, I've got popcorn, drinks and a blanket from mom. I don't know why she gave us a blanket, she said it would be good during a horror film but, I don't think you'd have the guts to ask me to watch a horror film after watching 'The Ring'. Remember?" Chara asked as she sat down next to him.

"Yes, how could I forget?" He asked with slight sarcasm.

Frisk's POV
Oh she's gonna be in for such a surprise. Who knew I could be like this? Well, it's all in good fun. AND, it's a chance for us to get a little closer than we usually are~

"Ready?" I asked. She sat next to me and put the blanket over us before nodding. I smirked and unpaused it. And now... it begins!

☆Later in the movie☆
I wasn't as scary as I thought it would be, then again I have watched this movie, like, 4-5 times. I looked over to Chara and she was shaking.

"What's wrong Chara? Scared?" I teased. Chara snapped out of her thoughts and shook her head rapidly.

"N-No... I-I just-AH!" She screamed as the Chucky appeared again. She clung onto me while I smirked.

"You were saying?" I said with a sly smile. Chara hid her face in my chest. I put my arm around her.

By the end of the movie, Chara was hugging me as if the world was about to end. So, pretty tightly. I switched the movie off and kissed her forehead.

"Are you ok?" I asked. She nodded timidly.

"I-I just... really hate dolls..." Chara replied.

"You mean you're scared....?" I teased. Chara pouted.

"No! I-I just really hate dolls" Chara repeated. I rolled my eyes jokingly and went upstairs with Chara in my arms since she didn't want me to leave her alone. I felt kinda bad now, I didn't know she was this scared of dolls, I just thought that she would just flinch... uh oh...  I forgot about the doll. Might as well not tell her yet; she'll see on her own.... while I watch.

"Well, I'm just gonna go to slee-AAAAAH!!" Chara screamed as she lifted the covers, revealing the Chucky doll I hid. I went over and hugged her.

"I'm sorry Chara, it was just a prank" I said. Her face was filled with shock.

"Y-You mean y-you p-planned this?!" Chara asked. Soon, Flowey's laughter could be heard.

"And I thought Frisk couldn't scare ya! I mocked him when he said he could scare you out of all people, but WOW!" Flowey joked "that movie must have been FILLED with dolls!"

"YOU WERE IN ON THIS?!" Chara exclaimed. Flowey shook his head.

"No, Frisk only asked me what you were scared of. After laughing at him, I said you were scared of dolls" Flowey responded. Chara turned to me.

"Why would you..." Chara asked. I looked down in guilt.

"I'm sorry Chara, I just wanted to get back at you for making me see 'The Ring', I didn't know you'd be THIS scared." I explained. Chara sighed and hugged me.

"Frisk, just... don't do that again. Ever" Chara said with a scowl. I nodded. "Wait, so how come you weren't scared?"

"Well, I've seen all of the Chucky movies at least 3 times. I'm kinda glad I did scare you, if I didn't then you wouldn't have cuddled me so much~" I said with a grin. She rolled her eyes.

"Well then, maybe... I'll watch a-a few more doll movies with you... if it means cuddling" Chara mumbled. I smirked.

"What was that?" I teased. She blushed and ran out the room.

"Nothiiiiiiiing!" She screamed. I sighed. Same old tsundere Chara...

Me:well, that's that! Sorry I keep taking too long, I just needed to work on my youtube videos for a while and I felt a little... depressed... and no, it's not because I had my phone stolen, it's about something completely different.
