Dipper POV:

Jack fell to the floor as his father kicked and punched him. 'Stop! What are you doing?!' I wanted to yell that out but couldn't find the words. The father must have noticed the time "shit your nothing is going to be home soon" he looked down at Jack who was on the ground bleeding "Clean this up kid the fix yourself up" he said with on last kick the walked into a room. Jack was on the ground crying from pain and was shaking from fear as I walked over to him. I put my hand on his shoulder and he flinched "Jack calm down its just us" I said as Wirt came over. Jack couldn't say anything. I looked worried "come on let's get you back upstairs" I said as I helped him up. Wirt started to clean up the blood. I sighed and sat down next to Jack on the bed "does he always do that?" I asked. "Y-yeah" Jack said quietly. "Why? You don't have to answer......" I was cut off by Jack who hugged me tight and cried onto my shoulder. I was startled at first but the hugged him back "it's ok....it's over Jack" I said softly. Wirt came back into the room worried. "Let's go to my house" I said as I pulled him away. He sniffled and wiped some tears from his eyes "ok" he said. I looked at Wirt "is that OK?" I asked. "Yeah that's fine" he said then we went to my house. I opened the door to the shack and heard Stan and Ford yelling at each other. I shook my head 'not a good thing to walk in on' I thought. Ford and Stan stopped yelling once they saw Jack,Wirt,and me. "I'm hey kidos.....sorry you had to see that" Stan said the last part quietly. "Gruncles are you ok? Is something wrong?" I asked worried. "Don't you worry child everything is fine" Ford said ruffling my hair a little. I laughed a little. "so who are your friends?" Stan asked. "Oh this is...." I was cut off by Mabel "JACK, WIRT!" She said as she ran up and hugged them. I laughed a little "I guess she just answered you Stan". "Did I interrupt something?" She asked letting them go. We all laughed. We talked for who knows how long. Wirt fell asleep at 11:00pm then me and Jack fell asleep at 12:00am. The next morning I woke up and saw Mabel in front of my face holding a camera "SMILE DIP 'N DOTS" she said loudly then snapped a photo. "Ahh Mabel!" I said getting up and rubbing my eyes from the sudden flash. "Sorry bro bro, but scrapbookatunity" she said then put the photo in her scarp book. "Its hard to believe that you and me fought so much a few months ago" I said smiling at her. "Yeah" she said smiling. I saw Wirt and Jack laughing. "What?" I asked. "Nothing your just a mess right now" Wirt said. "Well duh I just woke up" I said. It was only 3:00am. "Thanks a lot for waking me up Mabel its three in the morning" I said yawning. "Well we were gonna go to the school and check out if here really are ghost there and I wanted you to come to" she said with a big smile. 'Three in the morning and she is already super hyper' I thought "also this came for you bro bro" she said handing me a note. Before I got to look at it Mabel was behind me and was brushing my hair. I looked a little embarrassed in front of Jack and Wirt. The were laughing a little and my face turned red. Wirt must have noticed "Don't be embarrassed Dipper we just think it's cute how you two get alone". I sighed. 'I love Mabel and all but she really knows how to embarrass me' I thought. "Don't you dare tell anyone else about this" I said smiling and I couldn't help but laugh a little. "Don't worry Dipper it'll be our secret" they said. I heard Mabel laugh a little as I grabbed her and moved to where she was in front of me and gave her a small hug "you just a behind the scenes girl huh?" I said with a smile. "Maybe something bad about that bro bro" she said laughing a little then brushed my bangs. "I love you sis" I said smiling. "I love you too Broba fett but, when was the last time you brushed your hair Bro Bro it's a mess?!" She said. I laughed a little. 'I love Mabel's funniness' I thought. "I don't know I don't really pay attention to my looks" I said. "Same" Jack and Wirt said at the same time. "Wait!" Mabel said. "What?" I asked confused. "MINI FAMILY!" She said putting her hands up in the air a little to fast and she fell off the bed. We all burst out laughing. "We should get going if we're going to meet Coraline at the school" Wirt said. Jack must have noticed something "do any of you have.....makeup?" He asked nervously. "Why?" Asked Mabel. "Oh, I think I know why. You want it to cover up your bruises on your cheek?" I asked. "Y-Yeah" he said "I know it's kinda weird to ask but" he was cut off by Mabel "Dipper has some he uses it for the same reason. See" she said a little loudly  and wiped off some makeup Dipper had on covering is wounds. "Mabel!" I said a little mad. "sorry bro bro just saying though" she said. "Never mind I'll just..go get Jack some" I said and got up walking to the dresser on the other side of the room. I opened the bottom shelve and pulled out some makeup and gave it to Jack "Here". "Thanks" he said. "I'm going to get dress real quick" I said then left. I came back in a red shirt, blue jacket, jeans, and his pine tree hat. "Dipper if you traded in that jacket for a vest you would look just as you were twelve again" Mabel said smiling a bit. I laughed a little "I guess" I said. "What did you look like when you were twelve anyway?" Jack asked. "Here I have a picture in my scrapbook!" Mabel said and grabbed her scrapbook turning to a page with some pictures from the first summer we were here.

I started to remember all the fun times me and Mabel had like our first day here and I thought Mabel's new boyfriend was a zombie but ended up being some gnomes that wanted her to be his queen, or like summerween when me and Mabel trick or treated almost all night long, I mean we had a fight but then everything worked out in the end, same thing for all the other times like Mabel's puppet show, Gideon, Pacifica and the golf war her and Mabel had. They were fun times, I wish that summer never had to end, that we never had to grow up......growing up, it's not something I want to do, I miss being twelve cause me and Mabel had so much fun together and growing up means we might not be together forever' I thought but was interrupted by Mabel yelling my name "DIPPER! COME ON WE GOT TO GO!" She said almost yelling. "Huh? Oh sorry I was just thinking"  I said as I got up. We all walked out of the door of the shack and walked to school, it was still nighttime.
