My name is Rose Ravenclaw.

I'm five foot six. I have blue eyes and dark red hair. I'm 22. Oh, and I'm a fairy and for the most part, every vampire in the world wants to kill me, drain me, use me, abuse me, anything to torture me honestly.

I was captured stealing food from a fair booth. Just so happened the booth was ran by Vampires. They turned me in and authorities turned me over to, well I'm not sure really. It's almost like a Vampire black market.

No one has heard or seen a fairy in decades due to the war. I don't know much about it, but I do know we were slaughtered.

Our blood holds magical properties, and if swallowed, drank, or eaten, the person or animal will grow stronger, smarter, and hold some type of power for a certain amount of time. But, if taken in by a Vampire, the outcome is little to none. They say that it just tastes good and almost gives them a high.

So, I'm about to be sold to the highest bidder and I will probably die. Every Vampire King, Queen, Prince, Princess, Knight, and Warrior are here. Even werewolves. They think if they get me they can make a peace treaty with the Vampires, but let me tell you, it won't happen. It might start another war though.

"And now, ladies and gentlemen, what you've all been waiting for. The fairy!"

I was pushed out on stage roughly and shoved into a cage to protect me. Back before my kind was almost extinct, we were still sold like slaves in places like these. They would put us in cages, a new rule due to attacks before we were sold. So the seller lost their merchandise and didn't even get paid.

As I looked up at all the vampires, the all closed their eyes and sniffed the air. Some of them moaned, some of them slid their fangs out, some even tried to grab me while I was in the cage. Thank God it was in a silver cage though. It burned them and they went off the stage. They were all standing, some put their 'partners' on their shoulders to get a better look at me and some were clinging to the walls or standing on the balcony.

"I smell it to." The announcer said. "It's so hard to resist." He looked me up and down, then licked his lips. "Good thing she's tied up, eh? I'm sure if she wasn't she could open the cage and then we'd all kill her." He laughed and many other did along with him.

Just kill me now, but he is right. My hands are bound together with rope, and if I could get it off I would, but leave the cage? Never. It's the only thing protecting me.

"Let's start the auction off with one hundred thousand!"

"One hundred thousand!"

"Two hundred thousand!"

"Four hundred thousand!"

"Five hundred thousand!"

"Nine hundred thousand!"

I wish they thought this much of us before the war.

"Two million." A booming voice said.

Some people gasped and looked at the man.

"It's the Prince!" Someone in the crowd said and everyone bowed their heads.

I looked at him. He was beautiful. He had jet black hair and blue eyes, bright blue eyes, a sharp jawline, and he's very muscular. He was wearing dark blue jeans and a plain white shirt with black and white converse. Not exactly something you would expect from royalty, but props for having a chill sense of fashion.

"Prince Jace. What brings you here?" The auctioneer asked like an idiot. What brings everyone here today?

The Prince didn't say anything, he just looked at me.

I feel like I should cry, but I can't show weakness. I just don't want to go with him. Please don't let me go to him. I've heard he's cold and heartless and has no mercy for anything.

"Well since you did bid the most, I suppose-"

"Five million." Someone interrupted.

The Prince looked back at who went against him.

"Prince Kai." (Pronounced like kite w/o the T)

"Prince Jace. It's been a long time." He walked up to Jace and shook his hand.

"Yes. Too long. Seven Million."

"We can go all day, but in the end, only one of us has more money."

Prince Jace leaned into Prince Kai and whispered something in his ear.

"Dammit. Well, I guess you win again." Prince Kai said.

"I always win."

"And the Fairy goes to Prince Jace!" The auctioneer yelled.

Well shit.
