"What are you doing?" Melissa Silvering sneered at me as soon as I sat down for lunch.

"E-eating Lu-lunch..?" I stuttered. There was nothing scarier than Melissa Silvering. Her eyes were a clear blue that changed into dark blue when she was angry or annoyed. They often looked at me with hatred. Her hair was a dirty blonde color that shone in the sun. She almost always wore Skirts that barely covered her butt and shirts that barely hid her huge breasts. Her face was always, and I mean ALWAYS, caked in makeup. She had boys wrapped around her little finger, even THE boys. In fact, Drew had his arm around her waist.

"I can see that!" I was so confused. 'If she knows what I'm doing, then why is she asking?' I thought.

Drew quickly pecked Melissa's cheek then turned to me. "She means, What are you doing in the view of people? Shouldn't you be in a hole or something, saving people from the horror?"

"If my face is so horrifying, why are you looking at it?" I quickly placed my hand over my mouth. I mentally slapped myself for speaking my thoughts.

"You're right," Melissa spoke, then she gripped my drink, picking it up and pouring it on my hair. "Bye-Bye now," She smiled innocently and waved her fingers at me. I stood up and ran to the bathroom. I didn't care about my appearance, but I dashed to save myself from the massive addition of humiliation. If Melissa hated me, It was positive that the whole school hated me. What Melissa did, the school followed. If she jumped off a bridge, guess what! A group of kids would rush out to a bridge to jump off. If she went emo, you'd see a thousand kids dressed in all black and scars on their wrists. There was only one person who didn't follow melissa... And that was me. It was the only thing I had to be proud of. I was my own person, too bad I couldn't stand up for my own person.

\NOW THE SETTING CHANGES/

I sat at my bed, finishing up homework. The pencil I'm my hand moved across the paper as I answered the questions. Suddenly, a knock on the door interrupted me.

"Hey," My mom peeked her head into the room, speaking softly.

"Hi...?" I looked at her in confusion. Like I said, she always ignored me.

"Honey, your father and I are going to Hollywood for a few weeks. Is that okay with you?"

I gave her a flat look. I never cared before, why would I now? "Yeah... I don't care."

The only problem was, every time my parents go out of town, a not so pretty event happens at my house. One word... PARTY.

-------/:

I'm not proud of this chapter. I just wanted to introduce a new character I guess.

I've been down lately, I was on the edge of tears when I wrote this... My family's having a rough time.

Anyway, Please comment...? I Want some comments! What do you think about Melissa? I seriously gotta start describing the setting...
