"OH EM GEE!" I heard my sister, Lexi, squeal in a deafening pitch.
A couple of her friends from school were over... If you would consider 15 people, a couple people. They were all miniature Melissas. Mini skirts, bitchy attitudes, everything that Melissa was. It was sickening to know that that was where the world is going.
The girls were downstairs, gossiping obnoxiously loudly. They practically yelled every single sentence...
"NO WAY! He said WHAT?!?" One of the girls squealed. I recognized her voice to be the voice of Rachel Silvering. Rachel was Melissa's younger sister, and Lexi's best friend. She was always at our house. It was literally a living hell to have her walking around, criticizing everything saw. This, that, here, there. She once complained about the color of our dog! It just wasn't enough to have Melissa roaming around. Their parents just had to have another prostitute.
"Did you see Max today?" Another girl squealed. I could imagine her fanning herself, or daydreaming about the day that Max would notice her.
"YES! He looked fine!" Lexi chirped. It was surprising how none of the neighbors had knocked with a complaint... Seeing as we were at least 150 feet away from each other and I could hear them nice and clearly. Not that I wanted to hear them rant about their fantasies.
"Max smiled at me in the hallway today!" Rachel uttered. I was positive that Rachel flirtatiously waved at him to get his attention.
"Mmhmm.. His eyes are really dreamy," I heard one girl say.
"I bet his hair is soft, too..." Another gushed.
I could relate to why they were crushing on Max. I had a crush on him myself, when I was about 12. He was different than the rest. He wasn't a player who didn't care about feelings, he actually had a heart. He'd kept the same girlfriend for more than a year and was loyal to her. Never had I seen him look at another girl other than his girlfriend. With his green eyes, every girl would fall deep for him in a second, but he wouldn't do the same for them. Left and right, random girls would rush up to him, asking for a 'friendly' date. He'd turn them down with respect, saying he had a girlfriend. The best part about Max, was that he never did anything to me. He would just stand by and watch. Sometimes, I saw him flinch when the other boys laid their fingers on me. He wouldn't call me a slut, or a bitch. He wouldn't interfere, leaving my business my own.
"Oh, Before I like, forget, Rach, I need you to do me a big favor!" Lexi said to her best friend cheerfully.
"What?" Rachel replied in a bitchy attitude. Even to her best friend, she couldn't stop the attitude. Amazing, it really was.
"I need you to get Melissa to get the football team to get the alcohol. I'd do it myself, but I need to do some other stuff." Lexi informed Rachel.
By that time, I had enough of their conversations. It wasn't like I was eavesdropping, they were talking so loud, it was hard to miss.
Grabbing my IPod from it's place on my desk, I made my way through my room and onto my bed. I picked a song from one of my playlists, put my headphones in, then closed my eyes. I quickly fell asleep as I listened to the music that played softly in my ear.

[The Next Night]
I sat in my room once again. Downstairs, a party went on. The music blasted, making ear drums pop. From my room, I could see the colored lights flashing on and off.
Suddenly, my door flew open. A drunk couple stumbled in, connected at the mouth.
"Get out," I yelled in irritation. That was the fifth drunken couple who had barged in.
