Your POV
"I know who I want to invite" I ran down stairs and got paper and started writing

Dear Friend
I gradually invite you to my 19th birthday! it is today at 2:15.

"There! Finished!" After an hour of making them I took them to the post "Here! Deliver by today please" I gave the post man the invitations. I ran back home and waited, and waited, and waited. An hour passed by and people were arriving. First was Lizabeth "Hey Lizabeth how are you?" we talked for about two minutes until someone else came and another and another til there were no more.

I walked up to Peter "Hey Peter have you seen a guy about this tall and Blonde hair?" Peter looked at me weirdly "He hasn't arrived yet" I looked down at the ground. Peter lifted my chin up "Hey... He'll show up just wait" I smiled and blushed "Care to dance?" I nodded and we danced for a little bit.

We got interrupted by a deep voice "Hey. May I cut in?" Peter let me go and I turned around seeing...Zane!? "Wha-what are you doing here?" I invited Garroth not Zane. "I know I know you wanted Garroth to come, Garroth did come but....why didn't you invite me...?" I stopped dancing with him. He took my hands, I ripped my hands away and ran upstairs and into my room.

Next thing I know I hear a knock at my door "(E/C)? Its me, Garroth may I come in?" I didn't answer "Hey, I'm sorry about Zane, he's just trying to make friends" I paced around my room "Hey calm down it's ok" he sat me down on my bed. He sat down next to me "Garroth he held my hands. Who does he think he is. We just met!" I started to get angry "I don't even know who he is!" I got up and started to pace again.

"Stop! (E/C)! I'm gonna tell you a secret" he got and held my shoulders "Wait what's that?" He looked pass me "Zane has the exact photo on his shelf" he walked to my shelf and picked up the photo. I ripped it out of his hands "Don't touch that!" I carefully placed it back on the shelf "Its just me and a friend as teens"

"May I look at it?" He gestured to pick it up. "Yes, just be careful please" we sat on the bed and looked at the picture. "So this so you correct?" I nodded "So this is my brother. He had an old friend when he was in highschool but then they started to rip apart  after a few months and then I don't what happened" so the whole time Zane was my old friend from highschool.

All the memories flooded back into my head
Flash back
"(E/C) you go on a date with me?" Zane looked down
"I-I I can't. I need to go" I ran off
Present

"I ran away from him... I remember now" Garroth gave me a side hug and we headed downstairs. I walked up to Zane "Zane i-I'm sorry for everything, I'm sorry for not going on the date, I'm sorry for not being your girlfriend!" I started to cry. Zane held me and kissed my forehead, we made a scene.

Everyone went home and I was home alone. I went up into my room and played piano, no song in particular, just playing around. I heard a door open and slam closed "AGH!" I ran downstairs as fast as I could "I'm going to my room!" I stopped mom before she could go. She turned to me tears running down her face "Mom what's wrong?!" We walked over to the couch and sat down. I got her some tea "Honey, I got fired"

Zane's POV
I got home and Garroth sat on the couch and read a book, I went up to my room and laid on my bed. I looked up at the ceiling she's so beautiful I held the framed photo I see it now it's her❤ I got up and took a shower to clear my thoughts.

I got out of the shower only having a bath towel around my waist, and a tooth brush in my mouth. I came out of the washroom to see Garroth sitting on my bed looking at a framed photo "I still can't believe you were in love with a thief" Garroth chuckled. my shoulders tensed up "Give me that!" I snatched it from his hands and gently put it on the shelf. He got up and put his hand on my shoulder "You really do" he chuckled again and left the room. Ugh he's so annoying. When is Vylad getting back from his trip, I. strangely. miss him.
