Zane's POV (DIDN'T SEE THAT COMING)

I kissed E/C goodbye and closed the door behind me, I look across the street to see Peter coming out of his house. He kept his head down, I started to walk to my house. Peter started to walk next to me "Umm hello?" he didn't look at me "Why are you following me?" he looks up at me. He scoffs and makes a smug face "Your lucky" I made a confused face "To you know have her" I made an understanding face "I saw you when you came out the door. She loves you" I blushed and rubbed the back of my neck.

I looked down at the ground "Yeah, she's a cute gal" we got to my house "Well this is my stop nice to talk to you" it was an awkward talk but it was nice, I like how nice he is. I walk into the house to see Garroth and mom talking to a man with light brown hair "Little brother, come here" Garroth waved to me "This is Laurence, Laurence this is Zane my little brother" I rolled my eyes. Garroth put his arm around my neck "Hey, It's nice to meet you" Laurence shook my hand and chuckled. I got a angry "So where are you from, Laurence?" I shook off the anger and smiled "You don't look like your from around here. No offense" we all chuckled. He cleared his throat "Oh um I'm from Metelli (Sorry if spelled wrong) It's a village" my eyes widened.

We all sat at the table drank wine and laughed "So um will you take us to Metelli one day?" Vylad said behind Laurence. Laurence was confused with the voice behind him "Hey Vylad, come sit here with me" mom patted the seat  and looked at Vylad "Laurence this is Vylad, Vylad this is Laurence. And yes are you going to take us?"  mom started eating her salad. I scoffed and rolled my eyes "Guys he can do whatever he wants!" my anger got to my head and I slammed my fists on the table "I'm going to take a walk" I slid my chair back and started to stomp out of the house.  I stop at the fountain behind the house "UGH! Why do I get so angry?!" I sat down on a bench by the fountain.

I hear foot steps approaching "What's the matter?" I hear E/C's voice, she sits down next to me and puts her hand on my back "I heard you yelling, is everything ok?" I let out a big sigh. I put my head in my hands "I just need to be alone" I hear foot steps leave and then there was silence. Thank you, as much as I wanted you here, I need quiet. I start to think of us when we were in high school.

FLASH BACK

I'm walking down the school halls. "ahh!" I bump into a girl "Oh I'm so so sorry" I help her pick up her books. She looks in my eyes "It's ok. My name is E/C" we both blush.

PRESENT

And that's when I met her "Hey, what's up?" I look up to see Naomi "What's the matter big guy?" my mind wants her to stay but my anger doesn't. I get up "Umm I was just leaving" she gave a confused look "I'm tired" she made a understanding face and I walked off. I passed E/C's house and sighed, I just need sleep. I go in my room and fall asleep on my bed.

I wake up to see mom sitting on the end of my bed "Good morning sweetie" I sit up in my bed "There's someone here to see you" I get out of bed and get dress. I walk downstairs and see a woman with black hair and light blue eyes "Zane! It's so nice to see you" Lilian jumped up and hugged me. I jumped of fright "It's so good to see you!" I picked her and twirled her around "I've missed you sense high school" we went for a walk. She looked up at me (She's short)  "Remember when we met in high school" she smiled. All of the memories came back "Some guys were picking on you and I came to the rescue with my super manly strength" we both laughed knowing that's not what happened "Ok fine, I tried to stand up to them but they beat me up and you saved me" we laughed.

We kept walking I look up and see Peter walking toward us "What do we have here" Peter looked down at Lilian "Are you cheating on E/C?" we stopped. I made a fist "Don't Peter, she's just a friend" I stared Peter in the eyes. Peter looked at Lilian "I don't think Lilian thinks you are just friends" I turn to Lilian tears running down her face. Peter started to laugh "That's not what I meant Lilian" I grabbed her shoulders "Please. Listen." she shakes my hands off her shoulders and runs off "WAIT LILIAN!" I look at Peter. He's dying laughing "That was amazing, you should have seen her face" I punched him and ran after Lilian.
