I'm so tired of my life. Working my butt off to pay for my college tuition. Don't get me wrong , I'm a pretty smart girl. I studied in highschool and did all my work. I got accepted to my dream college, and even got a fair amount of scholarships. But, even with that , I still didn't have enough to cover it all. So now I'm here at a freaking diner. Oh wait, I'm sorry, I haven't introduced myself yet. I'm Skyler, a twenty one year old girl. I live a pretty average life, two parents and one brother. Other than that nothing really spectacular. Anyways, back to my life. I just got done with my night shift. I clock out at two A.M. Ugh time to go back to my crummy apartment. Hopefully I can catch the bus in time. As I'm walking down my usual path, I feel like something is watching me. I'm walking down a pretty isolated sidewalk, which maybe isn't the smartest idea. I could have sworn I felt a breath on my neck. There's nothing, or at least no one behind me. I continue my path, and try not to get too paranoid. Finally, I get to the bus stop, and hop onto the bus. I'm the only one on, which is good, so at least I don't have to worry about any creeps this late at night. The ride is peaceful, I no longer feel anxious, and put those bad thoughts in the back of my mind. Soon enough I get to my apartment, and give a silent nod to the driver. My shoes hitting the pavement are the only sounds I hear in the quiet night. Until I hear a whisper... Finally your home...
