Having an in day with Ed is amazing. He's in the kitchen right now making us sandwiches and I'm just watching the ending of our 6th movie. The time now is 7 pm.
"Back babe." Ed walked in. I smiled at him with 2 sandwiches standing on one hand and 2 drinks in his other against his chest.
"Ed you're going to spill them!" I laughed and reached out to get one of the glasses.
"No I'm not. I'm skilled." We started laughing and the movie ended on the screen. The room went silent and Ed handed me my sandwich while climbing into the bed with his drink on the side table.
We sat in a comfortable silence as we chewed down on our sandwiches. I sipped on my drink and Ed finished the rest of his sandwich and drink.
"Do you regret it?" I asked him and took another sip of my drink. Putting it on the side table, I looked over at him.
"Regret what?" Ed gulped down his ice cube water in his mouth. I sucked in my cheeks to prevent from laughing because this needed to be a serious matter, not a funny one.
"Last night. Everything happened so quickly and I just didn't know your thoughts on it."
I looked at the black screen and my ears noticed the silence.
"I've waited to have you back since the second you left."
"About that...where do we exactly stand?" I smiled sadly at him. His forehead scrunched together.
"I thought I asked you to be official again this morning."
"You did but-"
"You think I said it just in the moment." Ed interrupted me.
He knows me so well.
"Well yeah."
"You know you don't have to be so insecure. I thought I fixed this before."
Wait. HE'S fixed it BEFORE.
"I've always been insecure. It's just me."
"Well don't be. I love you." Ed's words flowed out of his mouth as simple as his full name would.
Did I love him still after all this time or did I just think it in the moment?
"Ed. I love you too."
"To the moon and back?" Ed asked.
"To the moon and back." I confirmed.
He leaned over and kissed my lips while jumping ontop of me. I giggled and wrapped my arms around his neck.
Being with Ed WAS my paradise.
