I wasn't in school yesterday because I just wasn't feeling it. Some drama within the family kept me home. My Aunty had passed away now people try to push the blame to my mama, she's the older sister not her fucking guardian angel. It was her ass who OD'd my mama warned her many times Quit the Crack , Stop the Coke. She told her, Damn. I spoke to Travis yesterday and honestly it was the best convo we've had in ages.
My Phone vibrated in my shirt pocket.
Travis : Get Yo lazy ass outside. I'm waiting
I left my house. And hopped in his car.
"Took yo ass long enough, You won't even give Papi a kiss" he said sucking his teeth.
"Boy, think you slick " I said pecking his lips. Once he started driving away from my apartment. Keef started playing.
"The beat go off....." He began
"I Up it then my heat off..." I continued

When we got to school I went straight for my locker to let my girls know what happened. "Hey..." I began
"Bitch.. Where the fuck were you, I was so worried, I trie-" Jamila began
"Sup Ma" Kamar said interrupting Jamila, making his way over to her pecking her lips.
"Wusgood y'all, Cleo I ain't see you for a minute" He asked facing me and Amara.
"Family Shit" I replied. He nodded before leaving us alone. "So what happened...With your family" Amara stated.
"Aunty Laquisha died a few days ago... My mama's younger sister, she was a drug addict...Coke, my mum tried her best to get her off it but she was addicted. She OD'd now my nana and Uncles blaming my mama and she ain't really feeling it so she left last night, she called and let me know she was okay...but she not okay about the fact they all up in her shit.. So I've been on my own for 2 days and I guess shit ain't been right, I'm sorry i made y'all worried." I Told.
"Bih why you Saint sorry, that's out of your hand, just call me if you need sonething" Jamila Began
"Yeah I'm only one call away" Amara added

Math was just hella boring and usual, I was stuck with Denique in this lesson. But I had my baby to keep me company. I was checking through Kamar's work to see if he made any mistakes. "Hey...Kamar" I looked up to see loniqua. I rolled my eyes remembering what happened with Denique the other day. "It's real sad you can't make it to my birthday, are you sure you can't get out of it-" she was speaking till I interrupted
"Look, were busy and the reason he won't be able to come, it's the same day as mine." I said satisfied.
"And who are you" she said
"My Girlfriend" Kamar said finally speaking up. I could feel my cheeks getting hot, I couldn't help it but I was smiling real hard. "Whatever" she said rolling her eyes
