FINAL CHAPTER

Memories of yesterday's still in her mind when she woke up. She's up already at 4 in the morning. The wedding will start at 8.

She checked her phone and got more than 100 notifications from different apps on her phone.

She got a text message from Rob.

From Rob:
Hey, honey. Good morning! I can't wait to see you later. I love you, my future wife. See you later, pretty! You're an answered prayer. :)

She didn't mind the message. She closed her phone and faced the mirror.

Is she ready for this?
Is she fine?
Is this the best decision?

She noticed the puff in her eyes. She cried last night, and it will big a big issue if anyone sees it. But of course, she will always have an answer and a reason. Of course, always.

She went out of the room, stayed at the verranda, stared at the stars.

How could destiny be this harsh?

She remembered the days when she and Aga were together. Time flies so fast.

She remembered how patient he was, how loving and understanding, as well.

But she hopes, everything about the both of then will remain in their hearts, and will not, if possible, end.

She doesn't know how long she has been staring at the stars but she moved with a jolt when her friends shouted,

"Wow! The bride's up so early!" Dawn commented and wrapped her arms around her shoulder.

Vina noticed her eyes, "Wait, did you cry?"

She smiled.

"Umiyak ka?" Vice asked her.

She smiled again.

"Anong lenggwahe ang gusto mo para sumagot ka?" Vice joked again.

"We don't state the obvious." she simply answered and hugged Dawn. They knew then what's going on.

"Can I ask you guys a question?" she's now serious.

They nodded.

"Are you all happy for me?"

The looked at each other before answering the question.

"Oo naman, Lei. We are always happy for you." answered Vina.

Vice tapped her shoulders, "We are, always. Kahit anong mangyari, we will always be happy for you."

Dawn smiled before answering, "We are your friends, and we all have been together for God knows how long. Lagi kaming magiging masaya para sa'yo. Why'd you ask?"

"Pakiramdam ko kasi," she sighed. "I'm not complete. I don't know. I am happy, pakakasalan ko na si Rob. Pero iniisip kong mas... mas magiging masaya ako kay Aga. And you are just being happy for me, because this is my decision."

"Alam mo 'yan, mas masaya talaga kapag si A--" Dawn pinched Vice, "Aray ko naman, bes."

"I won't have too much words, basta kami, we are all here for you, no matter what. If you runaway, okay lang. Hehe. Joke. No, don't settle for less. Kung sa tingin mo, your relationship with Rob won't work out. Or kung hindi ka magiging Lea nong kasama mo si Aga, might as well, magdesisyon ka nang maaga."

"Mahal ko naman talaga si Rob eh, he's been with me all throughout and I appreciate that. Pero iba 'yong pakiramdam kapag si Aga 'yong katabi ko. He'd turn all the uncertainties into possibilities. Yong kalmado lang ako. And I can easily express myself."
