"Come on Kay!" Jameilea said, she grabbed my arm. The long dress started to twist around my ankles, the shoes were a little too tight, so they were hard to walk in.
"Ow! Ow! Owwww, stop Jamie!" She immediately stopped. Arabelle was doing some sort of breathing technique as we walked over. She was eight months pregnant, and you could see it. Her dress was gorgeous, jewels, lace you name it, it was on the dress. Biting her lip and pacing back and forth. I grabbed her hand.
"Calm down, Arabelle," she looked like she was about to throw up. She nodded and we attached the vail to her gorgeously braided hair. "Breath," we reminded her. The music cue started and all of the sisters, from oldest to youngest made there way down, I was last so when I got my turn to walk down the isle, I gave her hand a tight squeeze and started walking. My father hooked his arm around her and they began walking down the isle.
I felt so amazing being the bride maid of honor. I loved he feeling of walking down the isle, I just wondered why I couldn't get a boyfriend. I saw Marina and Leann sitting next to mom. They were her midwives and had helped my mother give birth to every child, because she refused to give birth at a hospital. My mother was crying, she dabbed her eyes as each child walked down. When I finally walked down to where I was supposed to stand I saw someone, he stood next to the groom, the best man. He had blonde hair and baby blue eyes.
The vows were soon exchanged and I than headed towards the reception.
"Roderick get back here," someone yelled, It was probably a friend of Jameilea's husband. I walked slowly but was then pushed forward, my foot turned in my shoe and my dress tightened around my thighs, my hair flew forward sprawling across my face.
"I. Am. So. Sorry," said someone. I couldn't see him, but I was mad.
"What the heck!!" I yelled trying to get up, but my dress thought otherwise. I fell to the floor again.
"Lemme help you," the guy said.
"I can do it myself!" I replied brushing the hair out of my face, looking up towards the voice. It was baby blue eyes. I sat there dumb founded.
"Jesus Christ," I said under my breath.
"What was that?" He asked getting closer to my face. "I...I'm Colton, Colton Dean."
"Dean? From Can-nie-able? I think," I said making a complete fool of myself.
"Everyone pronounces it like that, but yeah it's Carnival, you know Carnival Cruises," He said getting up extending his arm.
"I'm Kay, I...I mean Ksania, it's Ksania, don't call me Kay!" I blurted out reaching for his arm. "My dad used to call me Mary Kay like the makeup brand, but you can't call me that... Don't make a fool out of yourself Ksania," but there I was making a complete fool out of myself.
"Do you like Champaign or wine?" he asked holding my hand.
"Both," I replied staring into his baby blue eyes.
"Well than, I think you should try both." He said holding my hand, "come on let's go to the reception." He started pulling me towards the reception. There were Krispy Kreme donuts and chocolates, Arabelle knew how to party. Jameilea and Roderick (her husband) were playing, chasing each other around the tables. Piles of gifts were stacked up on a table. Ginesa was talking to Ace, probably about me, and Ace's kids, Lana and Sophie were playing hand clapping games like slide. He dragged me towards the bar and ordered me something. I didn't hear it but when it came to where we were sitting, the wine in the glass I could smell from a mile a way.
"Strong," I said to him "but probably delicious." He nodded and sipped his glass. The first dance begun and we watched in silence.
"Arabelle I would like to say congratulations to my baby," my dad began, but I knew what he was gonna say "but we, meaning Ksania would like to give you something special." All eyes turned to me, especially Arabelle's and Colton's. "Come on Kay, get up here." I walked up to the center of the room. My dad handed me the microphone.
"Arabelle," wow cheesy beginning Ksania, nice going, "like dad said I would like to give you a gift. Now I remind you, this is my wedding gift," stupid! Stupid! Stupid! The music began I was gonna sing.
Since we were little me and Arabelle dreamed about building a home and having kids so I sung "build a home" by the Cinematic Orchestra. I had everyone in tears, even myself after i finished. Arabelle ran up and hugged me.
"That...I will never forget that," she whispered in my ear. "You have the most beautiful voice." Everyone started clapping and it seemed as though mother, Arabelle and my closest family were sobbing throughout the song. I looked Colton's way. His mouth was open and Roderick came and playfully put it back up. I giggled a little, no boy have I ever met made me feel like a girl getting a pony. I hugged Arie back and when we parted I headed straight towards my glass on the table.
"Ksania, right?" It was Colton.
"Yeah," I replied, but it sounded more like a gurgle than a word.
"Kay that was amazing," Jamie hugged me and Roderick did too, everyone started swarming me. Telling me how great my song was, how I'm such a good person (hypocrites) and that I have the voice of an angel, till finally I felt something grab my hand. I was pulled towards the exit. I saw blonde hair and felt relived.
"Thanks!" I said resting against the wall.
"You wanna walk around?" He asked. I nodded and we proceeded to walk around the gorgeous campus. The reception was held at the mission inn. Lights were hanging in the air, you could hear laughter, and everyone was inside so it was just me and Colton. The breeze was nice and it seemed as though the stars glowed brighter.
"You have the voice of an angel," he said smiling. His face was down towards the ground and he put his hands in his tuxedo's pockets. It was really awkward.
"Thanks, I hear that a lot," I said smiling towards him.
"So I hear you own Ace incorporated," he said leaning against the railing.
" yeah, not the best thing in the world right now," I sighed.
"Wait what! Your not excited," he asked jerking his head up.
"No not really, the thought of it makes me nauseated," I replied.
"Well, I'm 4th in line to revive the company, I have like 3 older brothers, there so annoying."
"Annoying, try having 11 sisters and 1 brother, you think your life's hard... I'm the youngest."
"No way, so lucky, I wished I owned my fam's company." We stayed there smiling at each other which felt like an eternity.
"Well, I have have to go to New York in a week," I said breaking the silence.
"Isn't the company in LA?" He asked
"LA? New York? What's the difference?" I said.
"A lot of things," he replied.
"Well I better get going, this was amazing Colton, thank you so much, I..." He grabbed my arm and pulled me closer.
"Look up," he said, I looked up, there under where we were standing stood missile toe, since it was early January the workers probably forgot to tear it down.
"I...I...Colton...I" I started to stutter. He smashed his lips into mine, It was the longest, best 4 minutes of my life. No one in this world has ever made me feel like this. No one, ever. It was enjoyable, so, so enjoyable. He tasted like red wine and chocolate. I put my hands around his neck twirling some of his blonde hair with my finger, but when he jerked away, I pulled them back.
"I'm sorry," he said
"No! Don't be," I replied, "I'm just gonna go now, like far away, to squill in my bedroom, stop making a fool out of yourself Ksania," I said waking backwards, positively blushing redder than the wine I drank. Best night ever!! I screamed in my head.

Hope you all like it❤️
