My mother told me when I was young that good works made you who you are. Not necessarily dieting (since at that time I was starving myself to lose weight) or getting a's but giving someone your best at all times, even in the doubt. Mother also said that i was already beautiful and that I didn't need a man to complete my life, but I wanted a husband, I wanted kids. So I decided that become the owner of Ace which wasn't that bad, maybe it's a new start for me. Maybe I will meet my husband or maybe I already have.
Today I wanted to do something nice, for my staff at home and my coworkers here at Ace. I decided, for my maids and butlers to buy them cupcakes from the best cupcake shop in New York and also buy Eulinda some Migliore olive oil and Alfred a new bow tie. All of my other coworkers will enjoy the cupcakes hopefully. Maybe I should buy the butler boys ties and the twin maids a new duster? I don't know, but what should I get for Ellie? that clumsy girl needs a new pair of glasses. But my coworkers, what should I get them? Ugh! I feel confused. You know I'll just wait for my coworkers, I'll just get my staff at home something. I'll wait for the Ace's once I get to know them better. Maybe they like coffee in the morning? Or donuts?
Anyway I needed to do some grocery shopping before I got home so I ask Gordon to drop me off at the nearest farmers market then come back in an hour. I walked to the health food store afterwards to but a couple of things, then headed to the cupcake shop to buy a dozen cupcakes. Beside this magnificent store was a place were I could buy things for Eulinda, Alfred and everyone. I spent money that day but belived I did a pretty good job of making everyone happy.
"Why Honey! Your a mind reader! I been needing olive oil for the past week."
"And I have been saving up for a new bow tie for a while now."
"These are wonderful!" Henry and George said.
"Why thank you ma'm!" The twins exclaimed in unison. I really didn't know what to get Ellie, but I tried.
"I'm sorry Ellie, I didn't really know what you would like since we just met, so I found this book and thought of you." Her eyes gleamed with excitement.
"Why thank you! Thank you so much!" She exclaimed "why I've been wanting this book! How did you know! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" He face told me everything! I scored! Boo-yah! That's how we do it! Maybe Ellie isn't that bad, but what I think is that good works don't really get you attention. It's the smile and joy in there eyes that make it worth wild. I'll that remember next time.

My grandmother told me that people are harsh, maybe that's why my parents left me, maybe that's why I like to smoke and have tattoos. I have always been the troubled child, expelled from most schools. But I had to tell my grandmother what happened.
When I got home music was playing. My grandmother's records, since I was Italian I could understand the words. She stood there in the kitchen staring into the abyss. I knew what she was doing, morning my grandfather.
"Grandmama," I said, she looked at me and smiled.
"Oh it's my baby," she sounded sad and depressed. She was old, dying, and had been in a wheel chair for the past 2 months. It was hard for her to walk since her hip surgery. "Would you like something to eat?" I nodded hoping it would make her feel better.
Walking in I remembered the girl's face. She had blonde hair, the prettiest blonde i had ever seen. Her eyes gleamed in the fluorescent light, God she looked like someone I knew. My sister walked in.
"Holly would you like something to eat?" My grandmother asked.
"Nah, I'm good," she said, I looked at her and if looks could kills she would have been six feet under ground. Holly was my younger sister. We lived with our grandparents, my grandpa died of a stroke and our parents are spending a little time in Jail. I gave her another look and she rolled her eyes and went up stairs. My grandmother fixed me something and I wondered how I was going to see the blondie from Ace... God I wished she didn't look like she hated me.
When I told my grandma she said that it was love. She said the way I talked about her was the way my grandfather talk about her, and they were married for 68 years! Well I guess I'll try again, if my grandma says I love her, then I love her. If only she didn't hate me!
