When I woke up, I was in the infurmery, and until I said something, they wouldn't have known I was awake. "Hey, why don't I switch with someone, these beds are really comfy, but I only want to be in here one a month, not twice a week!"
"I'm glad your back to normal, if that's possible for demigods," Percy said as everyone walked over.
"Yeah, you looked really pail, almost deadly pail, like... Nico pail," Hazel teased.
"Hey sis, I know your older than me, but that doesn't give you the right to call me, or Xena, pail.
"Fair enough, but you are pail, and I bet I was too because I could hardly breathe for over five minutes, " as I said this overly sarcastic, I eyed at Hazel with ' the look.'
"Boom, you just got sassed, magic girl," Percy said enthusiastically.
Hazel whipped her head around and glared at Percy.
"Hey, what happened anyway? All I remember is Delphi circling me, and then this yellow smoke came from her mouth and eyes..."
"Delphi,who's Delphi?" Nico asked inquisitively.
"Well, the Oracle's name before she was the oracle was Delphi, or Delphine. And she showed me a picture of her as a normal, well not completely normal, she said that she mainly looked like a regular person, but she had glowing yellow eyes, a brown pullover cloak and yellow steam billowing from her eyes. Here, I was able to grab the picture from her.
"That's not the Oracle," Annabeth said slowly, "oh my gods, we've got to get you out of here, now! Nico, can you shadow travel us out of here? Far away, very far away.
"I guess... where?"
"Anywhere, anywhere away from here."
"Whoa, what's going on? Where are we going," I asked, worried. As we all huddled together, Nico closed his eyes tightly, "Where are we going? Why's Annabeth freaking out," I whispered.
"I don't know, where do you want to go?"
"Um... oh, Italy," I suggested.
"Ok, but why Italy? Why not Greece, since we are Greek.
"Well, I've heard so many cool things about it, plus it's got great art and architecture. So... yeah." When Nico closed his eyes, I fallowed.
When I opened my eyes, we all were in the beautiful land of Italy. I felt like twirling several times, like in several movies I'd seen.
But I didn't, all I did was step foward, and gaze in awe. "Wow, it's just as beautiful as I thought it would be!"
"The first time I came here, this was a library," Nico said sadly.
"Wow, you must miss it. Did you come with anyone?"
"I did, Bianca," Nico answered sadly.
"Oh, I'm sorry, I know that's a sore subject for you," as I said this, I walked over to Nico and gave him a hug with a squeeze. When he hugged me backed, I felt a tear seep into my shirt. This made me want to cry and tell Nico that I knew how he felt.
"Come on they'll be on our tail any minute now," said Annabeth.
"Wait before we go anywhere, I want to know... who's 'they?'," I asked.
"The thing coming after you."
"And-"
"Well, there was someone, or something that spoke through the Oracle, and now, since you didn't get killed there, they- whatever it is still wants to kill you. And if it's able to communicate through camp, then it can get into camp, that's why we have to keep moving."
As they moved through the streets, many people shouted out the product they were selling, "il caffè, l'acqua, la marmellata."
"What are they saying?" As I asked Nico, we steered around a large group of tourists in the middle of the street.
"It means the coffee, water, jam, " Nico answered in his normal gloom.
"Oh, uh... thanks."
As I said this a man grabbed Piper, "oh, my! What great complection! I must have you! Come, come. I pay well, don't worry."
"Oh, I'm so sorry I'm just a visitor, from the U.S. I'll just be going on my own way, have a nice day," Piper said as she rushed away from the angered man.
"I'll get you! I always get what I want! You can run but you'll never hide," the man shouted gruffly as we rushed away.
"Gee, thanks mom," Piper sighed, "this is what I get for having a 'great complection.'"
"Hey, there are downs. But there are ups, too," Jason said, trying to lift Piper's spirits.
"Thanks Jason,I don't know what I'd do without you," as she said this the same man that yelled at Piper appeared in front of her. I grabbed her arm and steered her away from him, and as we walked away, he growled and fell on hands and knees. We saw the man multiple times until finally, Jason had had enough. He pulled out his sword, but each time he swung at the man with deadly accuracy, he dodged with impossible flexibility. About the third time he dodged, he jumped over to Piper, picked her up, and carried away the squirming girl. When we tried to fallow, the man somehow ran ahead and was lost in the crowd.
