After that, we decided that it was probably the best idea to stay together from now on. As we walked through Italy, I noticed a certain... painting, my mind was trying to pull on a memory, that just wasn't there, I knew it was recent. THEN it came to me, I pulled out the picture of the woman and gasped.
Nico was the first to turn and fallow my gase, then he looked at the picture in my hand. "You knew. You knew she'd be here! This was a setup!" Nico screamed at me for what felt like hours, until I couldn't take it anymore. My tears stung, but I held them in for as long as I could until I couldn't take it anymore. They poured and poured until my shirt was drenched and my face was red.
"You... You think I would do that?" I tried to keep calm. "I really thought that I could fit in somewhere, after all, I'm from a different time period, I died! I went to tartarus! I assumed I'd never fit in anywhere. Then you came along, I finally thought I could fit in somewhere. Where I wouldn't be... where I wouldn't be... A FREAK. Guess now you've proved me wrong." I couldn't let look at Nico anymore. I ran, through the streets, I ran as far as I could, until I fell and cryied my sad heart out. As I cryied, time seemed to slow down. Until someone walked up and put a cloth up to my face. After that, I fainted.
