To whom it may concern,

I'm sorry that I've been a bit slow with updates lately, and I'm sorry if I've gotten you all excited thinking this was another chapter, but I have something very important to say.

To anyone who reads the posts on my wall, you already know what's going on. I've been wanting to do this for a while now, I just didn't want to let anyone down, but it turns out that by avoiding it, I've let people down anyways.

To anyone who doesn't read my wall, I've decided to branch out a bit. Basically, I don't want to write fanfictions anymore.

As a writer, I feel that fanfictions are too restricting. I've always felt that, but as I grew older, I knew this to be true. Writing fanfictions sets certain parameters for the creativity I can use. Sure, I can be pretty creative, and I've seen some pretty awesome fanfictions, but there's only so much you can do with a fanfiction. I can't make the characters do what I want them to do because I risk making them sound "out of character" and half the time I have to sit around trying to remember details about a show or book I've watched or read years ago. In fact, half of my previous fanfictions that I've written, this one included, are based off of knowledge others have given to me. Half of my stories I've never even been in the fandom of, and that makes it even harder to write them.

This story was written because a friend requested me to write it years ago, but her and I have since lost contact, and I have never had an interest in the show so I dropped it. The only reason I agreed to write it is because the only episodes I did watch were the ones that had Marceline in it because I loved her story arc, but other than that I know next to nothing about the show.

The reason I decided to try and rewrite it was to practice my new writing style and see how others liked it, because this used to be one of my more popular books, besides the Joke Book I had published, and I knew I would get to see if people liked it easier.

I'm sorry to say this, but this story is unlikely to be updated again. Maybe I will update again at a later date, but I don't really know where to go with the story, nor do I know anything about Adventure Time.

I'm sorry if this upsets anyone, but I just want to write original stories, and branch out some. I hope that some of you will support me in this endeavor, but I understand if you don't.
