"This is the last calling for passengers for the flight 201 to Amsterdam"

Magalie sighed picking up her bags heart beating wildly in her chest. This could be the end of her but it also could give her the answers she so desperately needed. But there was no going back now her mind was already made up. She hurried to the terminal and onto the plane. She was careful to store her bags under her feet, if anyone else got hold of them she would be done for and Charles would live up to his earlier promise. As the plane lifted off Magalie felt that all familiar fear, not the fear of crashing but the fear of never seeing land again. "Scared of flying?" Magalie turned towards the voice and only then noticed the man sitting beside her. She nodded for once in her life not able to speak. There was no denying it he was good looking, very good looking, the sort of person you would expect to see in a magazine or modelling designer clothes. She finally found her voice

"Hi I'm Magalie so why are you going to Amsterdam business or pleasure?"

He smiled crookedly "I'm Nathan, pleasure. I just needed to get away to clear my head and there is no better place than Amsterdam, what about you?"

"Business I'm afraid, It's my first time in Amsterdam"

"That doesn't mean you can't have any fun, since it's your first time there I can show you around a bit. I know the city very well"

She faltered "I don't know I'll be very busy"

"Oh come on a woman like you doesn't deserve to be spending her first time in Amsterdam alone"

He flashed his irresistible eyes at her and she just couldn't say no. A few hours later as they were leaving the plane he handed her his phone number and they went their separate ways.

Later in her hotel room she held the piece of paper with his number on it tightly in one hand. She just couldn't decide what to do, all throughout the flight she found herself liking him more and more but she didn't know if she could deal with a relationship now or worse a bitter fling. Plus if Charles found out she didn't know how he would react, he might hurt her or worse hurt him. Standing by the bin she considered tearing it up and forgetting, if she didn't call maybe he would get the message. Just as she was ready to do it her phone rang.  She recoiled as she saw his name come up but hastened to answer it. "Hello Charles" His reply was short, clipped and truly frightening. She shuddered as soon as he hung up and smoothing Nathan's number out placed it on her bedside table. She didn't care about the consequences she would ring him tomorrow Charles or no Charles
