A dim light shined on the ground before a door labeled, 'HEADMASTER.' Both Ash and Jonathan stood, still dressed in their attire from the mission. The only difference is that Ash's arm was completely bandaged up and any cuts left on Jonathan were covered. Dirty and dusty, they stood before this door, preparing to knock. Never before has Jonathan been so scared to be in front of this door. The last time he was here, he was given his first badge for completing his first mission. Of course this is a wonderful moment, filling any agent with pride and a determination to work hard to complete even more. Jonathan was effected like this and even Ash back when she first started. Now 4 missions later, he's here for the worst reason possible.
¨Jonathan... Are you done spacing out now?¨ Jonathan flinched from her voice. Ash sighed before continuing. ¨There is no reason to be so freaked out, okay? We're going to be okay. I'M going to be okay." She placed her hand on his shoulder. ¨All you need to do is stay calm and believe in the Head.¨
Nervously, he bobbed his head up and down before taking a deep breath and smiling.
¨Are we all good now?¨ He shook his head at the sound of Ash's voice. ¨Alright.¨
She knocked on the door three times, before a voice called from behind the door. "Come in, darling," the soft-spoken voice said, beckoning the pair to enter. It was obviously a male voice, but the tone given suggested they attempted to speak just a tad higher than their normal voice.
The two teenagers opened the door and slipped in with ease. Ash stood tall before the desk holding the owner of the voice, as Jonathan stared towards the ground holding onto his arm. " Hello, sir!" Ash proclaimed as poor Jonathan, dripping with sweat, whispered a shaky "Hello..."
"My dears, what is the matter?" He smiled softly towards them. The man speaking has black hair that wrapped around his face, framing it like a picture. It flowed down until it reached about his mid back before breaking off into layers. He had bangs that covered one of his sparkling green eyes, making his pale skin look even whiter. His eyes were darkened with different shades of brown mixed with some black eyeliner topping his visible eye pop. Dressed in a simple women's business attire, if the teens didn't know any better, he could very well be mistaken for a girl.
"If you don't already know, sir, I made a grave mistake on my mission," Ash began. The tranny shook his head, already knowing where this was going, as Jonathan bit on his lower lip. "Our mission was to investigate the sudden disappearance of two teenage girls who were last seen at an abandoned middle school. We couldn't find anything suggestioning who caused this crime, but we did run into a group of some wanted criminals." Intrigued the man looked up towards the girl, demanded with his eyes that she continue. "The 'Demon" twins, Cade, and Elias."
With every word dropped from Ash's mouth, his jaw dropped farther and farther towards the ground. "Did they have anything to do with the the missing teenagers?!" Now standing up from his chair, he slammed his hand on the table, looking through Ash's eyes searching for some answer to his question. When she stayed silent, he looked towards the boy to her right. "Did you find any answer, my boy?!"
Jonathan, now realizing he was being talked to, looked up and nodding slightly. "Y-Yes, sir. In fact, I-I heard C-Cade questioning why Elias needed t-them."
Clasping into his chair, the headmaster whispered under his breath before shooting fierce eyes towards Ash. "Care to explain why Jonathan had to answer this and not you, Ash?"
Jonathan flinched at the harshness of his voice, as Ash looked towards the man, emotionless. "Because, sir, I was not in the general area when this all happened." The tranny shook his head once again. "As I was trained from my Master before me, in order to be the best agent here at this organization, you must be well experience and able to work solo. That is the one and only way to have the best training possible. I let Jonathan here take over the mission on his own, however, if I would've even thought for a second that Elias would of been there, I would of taken the mission on by myself."
