Sorry for posting this so late! I know I usually publish earlier in the day, but I had a really hard time writing this chapter! Anyways, I hope you enjoy!

______

The entirety of the small room was completely blank. The white walls were covered with small rectangular light grey shelves that were completely empty. The desk, made of oak with four tiny drawers that matched the color of the shelves, had nothing but a small lamp on it. Each of the drawers were slightly open revealing their empty states. Sitting against both the desk and the corner of the wall, a metal frame was on the floor holding a twin sized mattress which was hastily made with 2 white pillows and a grey comforter. The dresser was parallel to the bed and stood maybe a foot away from the desk. It was tall holding 6 drawers which were completely open and empty. The dresser also didn't have anything on it. The floor was clean except for a black suitcase and a lime green backpack sitting close to the foor.

Ash stood in the room, her eyes red from crying. This was the room she has had ever since she first became an agent, and it was going to be given to the next orphan who was chosen. It completely devastated her and made her want to cry even more. The only issue was she had no more tears to cry. After taking a breath to control her emotions, Ash picked up the backpack and put it on. She grabbed the suitcase by the handle, and with one more shaky breath, she left the room.

______

With her luggage in tow, Ash made her way to the organization's lounge area where 6 agents sat with their heads down. 'Oh my god...' Each one of these agents were close to her; in fact, each one of these agents were taught by none other than herself.

Dressed in black jeans and a grey shirt, a boy, who was seated in a leather chair, held a grey fedora over his face. His black hair was messy and unkempt, and his charcoal eyes were shut tight. A small trail left from his tears laid on his pale cheeks as his teeth were clenched in anger. Being the first one of Ash's students, he came to understand Ash the most out of everyone else. Just a week after Adam's last mission, Ash was given this boy to look over and train. The timing couldn't be any worse as Ash was still an emotional wreck. He knew of Ash's existence before from the other agents. She was known to be quite bubbly and energetic, but seeing her in this state, it was quite a surprise. This boy watched Ash go through everything. He watched as she started changing her appearance, her personality, and slowly even closed herself off from her peers. He watched her go through more pain than anyone else. His name is Oliver Nyberg.

A once lively girl was silently sobbing on the floor. Her back was pressed against the wall with her knees brought towards her chest. The girl's blonde choppy hair, which usually was held back with bobby pins, was a giant mess which frized in every direction. Her brown sweater hung on her shoulders and covered the majority of tan tank top. She wore combat boots that matched her shorts and sweater, and in her hands, the short girl clutched a bronze locket. This necklace was her most prized possession being given to her on her last day as Ash's pupil. It had a picture of Ash and herself smiling after their first mission together. Being the girl's first time on the field, she was very nervous. The girl hadn't done anything other than spar with her peers, and even the thought of having to put her life on the line and fight for real completely scared her. In the end, Ash helped the girl get over her fear, and the pair finished the mission with nothing more than a scratch. From then on, Ash continued to help this girl's confidence, and now, she does missions completely on her own without help from others. Her name is Maia Fabre.

Dressed in a maroon sweater paired with headphones around her neck and black leggings, a girl leaned against the wall. Her dark golden brown hair fell around her face as she focused on her phone. Scrolling through her news feed, the girl attempted to keep her mind off of the situation at hand. She wouldn't cry. She couldn't. She knew that Ash didn't want to see any of them cry because it would only end with her crying too. Ash had see this girl at her worst moments, and every time tears would fall down her face, Ash would join her. Despite her emotionless personality, this girl was well aware of Ash's true personality. She tends to stay quiet, but if you are truly close to her, you can see glimpses of her true personality. Normally, Ash crying is as rare as a 4 leafed clover, but "Ashlynn" is completely different story. Everytime Ash cried, it was a small glance at the person she was before. This girl brought out the old Ash despite how much she tried to hide it. This girl is Alice Hayes.
