E - Telling the News - Wedding Series

A/N: the first part to the series is 'Ethan - He proposes' I don't feel like reposting it  😁😂 but this is the 2nd part, and the rest will be in order from here on :)

Ethan's POV:

I was so happy right now. She said yes. She actually said yes. I can't believe I'm marrying the love of my life; the girl of my dreams. We were now driving home from our date, back to mine and Grayson's apartment. (Y/N) and I were not living together at the moment, but we have been looking for apartments for us to move in to. We made it back to the apartment and I ran into the building. I just wanted to tell everyone the news already. I heard (Y/N) laugh from behind me.

"Eager much, Eth?"

"Yes. I just wanna tell EVERYONE!"

"Ok. Well calm down some. It's kinda late." I didn't care. We finally made it to our apartment and I quickly unlocked the door. Once we were in, I pulled (Y/N) into a huge hug and spun her around.

"WERE GETTING MARRIED! CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS BABE?! I CANT BELIEVE IM finally marrying you." I quieted down and set her down, leaning in to kiss her. We heard footsteps, so we stopped.

"What is all that noise? Seriously. I'm trying to sleep," Grayson said as he rubbed his eyes. I looked up to see Grayson, Alex, and Nate standing there, looking exhausted.

"We have some news. Me and (Y/N) are engaged," I said proudly, with a smile. They all broke out into smiles and walked over to hug us.

"Congrats, bro. I'm so happy for you," Grayson said to me as we hugged. I gave hugs to the other guys, and so did (Y/N).

"So, who's the best man?" I heard Alex ask. We all laughed and I had no doubt in my mind who I wanted it to be.

"Hands down its Grayson. He's my twin brother. He's been the one who's always been there for me, he means so much to me. I mean, you guys do too, but Grayson's been there for me since the beginning. You guys are actually gonna be the groomsmen. So you guys are still in the wedding." They smiled and we group-hugged. (Y/N) was gone from her spot next to me; I guess she went to call her family. I kept talking to the guys, about what's gonna be going on for the next few months, regarding the wedding.

Your POV:

You left your spot from next to Ethan and went into his room to call your family. You dialed your mom's number first. It rang a couple times before she picked up.

"Hello?"

"Hey mom. I have some news to tell you."

"Oh, what is it?"

"Ethan proposed! We're engaged!"

"OH MY GOSH (Y/N)! THATS AMAZING! IM SO HAPPY FOR YOU!"

"Thank you!! I can't believe it, it still hasn't sank in that I'm marrying the love of my life."

"Aww, that's so cute. So how did he propose and where? What does the ring look like?" You told her how Ethan proposed and described the ring, every detail she wanted to know.

"I have to call everyone else so I'll talk to you later. Bye mom, love you."

"Love you too sweetie."

You hung up and called the rest of your family; first your grandma, then aunts and uncles, and cousins, anyone who seemed to care. Everyone was so happy for you, and wanting to know if they were in the wedding or not. You told who you actually wanted to be in the wedding, which is one of your cousins. Next, you called all of your friends. They, too, were all happy for you. You of course chose your best friend as your maid of honor, and asked another friend to be a bridesmaid. They were ecstatic to hear that they were to be included in the wedding. You talked with them for a while, and finally hung up because you were so tired. You changed into one of Ethan's t-shirt and a pair of his boxers, and laid down in his bed. Ethan came walking in a few minutes later with a smile on his face.

"Hey. I told all of my family and friends. They're so excited for the wedding." You smiled.

"I told my family and friends, too. I told all the people who I want to be in the wedding, that I wanted them to be in the wedding."

"I did, too." He smiled and stripped to his boxers, climbing into his bed beside you. He wrapped his arms tightly around your waist, which caused you to be pulled into him. Your face was pressed against his chest, inhaling his cologne. You smiled and kissed his neck.

"Goodnight beautiful. I love you so much. And I can't wait to marry you," he whispered in your ear.

"I love you too, Ethan. I can't wait to become Mrs. (Y/N) Dolan."

"That has a nice ring to it, doesn't it?" He laughed. You laughed along with him.

"Yeah it does. Goodnight Eth."

"Night, baby." And with that, you two fell asleep in each other's arms, dreaming about the day you say 'I do'.
