Sorry this isn't the best writing ever, I had a rough start lol. And the cake in the media slot is what the cake they chose looks like

Ethan's POV:

Ever since we got engaged, we've been planning the wedding by ourselves. Yes, it is stressful, but we figured our moms would be too much to deal with, on top of all the stress of the weddings. We did have Grayson, Alex, and Nate help a little, but hey chose to stay out of it. We had already decided the colors; mint green and white. My favorite color is green, and (Y/N)'s favorite shade of green is mint, so we compromised and chose the color. (Y/N) had already been shopping for a dress, bridesmaids dresses, shoes, and jewelry. She found everything she needed, which I'm not allowed to see yet; well, to be fair, I'm allowed to see her shoes, jewelry, and the bridesmaids dresses, obviously not her dress. We've been looking at reception halls online, and found one near our apartment, actually. It was beautiful. There was a dance floor in the middle of the room, and on either side of it there was tables for the guests, and the wedding party was placed at the head of the room. We decided on that one. The location the thing we had trouble finding. We wanted it to either be in LA or New Jersey, and after a long time I finally showed (Y/N) a location; it was on the beach, it had a little gazebo covered in flowers. It was beautiful. It wasn't too fancy, which is what we wanted.

"Hey, babe. How about this location? It's on the beach, with a little gazebo covered in flowers, white folding chairs. It's not too fancy." She walked over to me, looking over my shoulder at my laptop screen.

"Where's it at?"

"Um, about 20-30 minutes away from here. Not too bad." She smiled and nodded can placing a kiss on my cheek before going back to her spot on the couch.

"So if that a yes, baby?"

"Yes, Eth. I love it." I smiled and contacted the person who books weddings and stuff. Yeah, I'm not very experienced as you can see. I sighed and closed my laptop when I was done.

"Let's go to bed babe. We have to go cake tasting tomorrow." She nodded, also closing her laptop. She walked into my room and plopped on the bed.

"Ugh. All this wedding planning is stressing me out. Remind me why we didn't have our moms or even a wedding planner help us?" She whispered.

"Because they would've stressed us out even more. And they would've been either pressuring us to choose a specific thing, or telling us what we should or shouldn't do. We're adults, we can make our own decisions. I know it's stressful, but it will all be worth it. This wedding will be beautiful, you will be the most gorgeous bride ever, and we'll finally be a married couple. Now let's go to sleep, I'm tired. Goodnight, beautiful." She smiled and whispered into my chest.

"Goodnight, Ethan. I love you." And with that, we were out.

*the next day*

Ethan's POV:

Today we were going to a bakery close by to taste cakes. I got up and showered, got dressed, and ate breakfast. (Y/N) decided to sleep in from being so stressed; I didn't blame her, and I also didn't wake her up. It was about 10:30 by the time I finished eating, and finally decided to wake her up, as we had to be at the bakery by 11:30. She finally got up, rubbing her eyes, and stood up to take a shower.

*skipping to the bakery*
*still Ethan's POV

We walked into the small bakery hand-in-hand, and were greeted by a lady walking up to us.

"Hi. Are you Ethan and (Y/N)?"
"Yes. We're here to taste some cakes for our wedding," I smiled at her as she shook our hands.

"Alright. Well come over here. Now what do you have in mind for a cake?" I looked at (Y/N) as she started to talk.

"I know we want white fondant, and it to be a 3-tower cake, but a small one." The lady nodded.

"Ok. What about the flavor of the cake? Do you have ideas, or do you just wanna dive in and try some."

"We want something kind of fancy, like maybe marble cake, or raspberry filling." She nodded and made her way to the back, after showing us to a table. I grabbed (Y/N)'s hand and smiled at her; she smiled back and rubbed the back of my hand with her thumb. The lady came back to our table with a tray filled with cakes.

"Ok. So we have marble, which is chocolate and vanilla cake mixed, vanilla bean cake with a vanilla filling, strawberry cake with a strawberry filling. We have red velvet cake, vanilla cake with a raspberry cream filling, and lots more. So just taste whichever ounces you want, and if you either want another flavor or want more of one, just call me over." She smiled and left us alone. We started tasting the ones we thought about, and damn! These cakes were amazing! We chose a good bakery. I took a bite of the marble, and looked at (Y/N).

"I kinda want a filling. I feel like the cake is kind of plain if its marble. I mean, it's fancy and all, but I feel like it's too plain," she mentioned as she also took a bite of the marble.

"So, either the vanilla cake with raspberry filling, or the strawberry cake with strawberry filling." She nodded at my words and took a bite of the strawberry cake.

"I feel like the strawberry cake is too much strawberry. I mean, they're good, but cake plus the filling is just too much strawberry, for me at least. So how about we go with the raspberry filling and vanilla cake," she decided. I agreed; that cake was pretty good, the raspberry filling isn't too much, and it tastes good with the cake. I called the lady over and told her our decision. She smiled and grabbed a giant pad of paper.

"Ok. I'm just gonna write down all the details of the cake, and have it made. Oh, what's the date of the wedding?"

"June 28," I said proudly. It was a little over 3 weeks away. I'm beyond excited. She wrote the date down on the piece of paper.

"Ok. So it's gonna be a vanilla cake with raspberry filling, 3-tower, and covered in white fondant. Any ideas for the design?" I turned to (Y/N).

"Um, in the middle cake, can we get the letter D in cursive? And maybe have it surrounded by like, silver dots or something. And on the other 2 towers, just a design. Like a diamond pattern or something." The lady nodded at her and write everything (Y/N) was saying down. I had no idea what she was talking about, but I guess the lady did.

"Ok. Thank you for the order. We'll have it ready by the day of your wedding. I hope you two have a great wedding and have a happy life together."

"Thank you so much. Bye," we said our goodbyes and left, hand-in-hand. I smiled down at my beautiful fiancée.

"Almost everything is done being planned. Just gotta find a honeymoon location and book it, then were set. Can you believe this, (Y/N)! We're almost married! 3 more weeks, and then you're gonna be Mrs. (Y/N) Dolan." She smiled also and leaned up to kiss my lips.

"Let's get home and choose a location for our honeymoon." She giggled and nodded. Once we were back at the apartment, I pulled my laptop out and went onto Google. (Y/N) sat beside me, leaning into my shoulder, looking at the laptop also. I typed in "best honeymoon locations" and I clicked on the first website that popped up. I looked through the list; I didn't want to go to Hawaii, or Europe. I wanted to go to somewhere like the Caribbean Islands, or some exotic place like that. I saw one that was in Indonesia, it was only one picture but it looked beautiful.

"Bali, Indonesia. It looks beautiful." I googled Bali, and a resort came up. I clicked on it and WOW! It had a crystal clear pool, the bathrooms had a huge bathtub, a huge shower, and not to mention, the bedroom had a huge bed, a flat screen tv; it looked perfect.

"It's perfect, Ethan. Let's book it!" I smiled and went to the tab that said 'book'. I booked a room for June 29, a day after our wedding. Once it was finished, I shut my laptop down and pulled (Y/N) into a hug.

"Well, looks like we're done planning. Except for my suit and your bouquet. But, we did it. We planned this all by ourselves!" She laughed and buried her head in my shoulder. I hugged her tighter, loving the feeling over her in my arms. We're only 3 weeks away.

3 weeks.
