Chapter 1: Quinn's Appearance
I live in a small town called Sleepy Lakes. It's usually cold and quiet around here, nothing ever going on other than a few parties. My name is Quinn and I live in a small house on Hallaway Lane with my older sister Elise.
At the moment I'm staring at my pale reflection in the mirror. My shoulder-length black hair is perfect, along with my black eyeliner and mascara. My Black Veil Bride t-shirt and black skinny jeans hugged my body tightly, but in a comfortable way. I'm always happy with my appearance and never try to hard, because I could care less about what other people think. But then there's the biggest thing that makes me a freak...my eyes.
They are a vibrant color of violet, filled with so many emotions at one time. I don't know how I got them or even why it had to happen to me, it just sort of did. I have to admit they are a pretty color, but I just hate them so much. Everyday at school I'm called things like "purple eyed freak" and so many horrible things, a girl would want to kill herself from hearing them.
This doesn't really bother me because I hate almost everyone at school except for my best friend Aubrey, she helps me get through everything. But I'm always scared what else will happen to my life due to these cursed eyes, these eyes that have witnessed to much for there own good. . .
Author's Note:
Okay so this is the first book I have written in wattpad, so take it easy in me. I have a few creative ideas ready for the next chapters. I know the first chapter is really short, but that's only because I want to get a good idea of how many people actually want to read this. Sadly though I am only going to continue if people want to keep reading. So if you have any questions or you want to continue reading, please comment to let me know.
Until then
