Chapter 12

If there's anyone who's more effected by Audrey being in a hospital it's Aubrey. Aubrey refuses to eat and refuses to sit in another seat in class but the one Audrey sits in.

I however need me some hard ass Audrey or else I might just die from not having basic needs.

I sighed as class went by a lot slower knowing I couldn't look at my tiger.

I took out a snack from my bag and offered it to Aubrey but of course she said no and class was over.

"Aubrey please eat something." I begged.

"I'm not eating anything." Aubrey said and I sighed and picked her up.

"If you want you can do Audrey's homework. I got it right here." I said trying to bargain with her.

"But I want her to tell me I can't do it and then I do it anyways." Aubrey said crying into my shoulder and I sighed.

"We're gonna go do something fun." I whispered kissing her cheek.

"Where's the fun if there's no hard ass Audrey?" Aubrey asked crying on the floor in the hall way as people walked passed her.

Some people bent down and rubbed her back which I was quite thankful for.

I picked her up and brought her to the football field and she immediately stopped crying. I think she likes this sport.

"Let's throw the football back and forth?" I asked smiling and she nodded.

I threw her a spiral and she jumped up and caught it with one hand.

She hit with her left hand and then threw me a spiral.

Damn she plays like a professional. I smiled a bit.

I threw it to her purposefully low and she slid and dived and caught it. Plays like my tiger.

She got up like nothing happened and threw it to me purposely low too and I chuckled but simply lowered my hands and caught it.

I threw a higher ball and she jumped up and caught it.

She threw it to me in a spiral and it just kept going.

It was lunch time and Aubrey was a little muddy from having fun on the field. I made her run and the whole time she didn't say a word and she didn't say a word. I think she was taking a vow of silence because it was creepy.

"What happened to her?" One guy amused.

"I was playing with Jake and I had to get down and a little dirty." Aubrey  answered.

The guy rubbed her back. I think everyone knew about Audrey.

"Can you eat?" I begged.

"No." Aubrey answered.

"Drink something. Please." I said kissing her forehead.

She nodded and took one gulp of water and I sighed.

"I need you to eat and then you don't have to eat for the rest of the day." I begged and she shook her head.

"Just one bite." I begged an she looked at me. She nodded and she took a tiny bite.

"That was small. Another one." I said and she glared hard at me.

"For me." I said offering her a small smile.

"Stupid lovesick puppy." Aubrey muttered and I chuckled but she took another bite.
