So... You know that feeling I talked about before? How Cody makes me feel like Im free falling and that feeling is so over whelming that I kinda like it? Well guess what? Now Im experiencing an entirely new feeling because of Cody... Well... Because of what Im going through with Cody. You know that feeling you get when you're scared out of your wits?... I'm experiencing that right now. Right now as a bustling town of thugs and prisses and floating objects spreads out in front of me.

"What.... Oh... My ... Goodness... CODY!!!"

"SHHHH!!!!" Cody and Josh hiss at me simultaneously, Cody covering my mouth. Right. Dangerous freaks shows right in front of me.

"Sorry.." I whisper. "Where are we?"

"Come on. We have to hurry before they see us." Cody says, ignoring my question. He takes my hand and though we're in an incredibly dangerous predicament, pulses of electricity shoot from the hand he's holding and up my arm and I notice the corners of his mouth pull up as I think this. Crap. Mind reader. Right.

"Not a mind reader Lils." He says and I widen my eyes and furrow my brows in confusion.

"Wait, wha-how did you- oh nevermind!"

Cody tugs me along a sidewalk that passes many shops, all with their own variety of items, including automatic washing machines that speak to you and things like that.

"Its like I just stepped into a town from the future." I say and Cody looks back at me with an adorable half smile playing across his lips.

"Wait 'til u see my apartment." He says and I get totally confused.

"Your apartment??...Cody you live with your parents...Like a block away from me.... And unless you somehow moved here during the summer, which is impossible since you were in Peru, studying more than what America has to offer, which doesn't seem like you, since your the go-against-authority type and don't really enjoy school to my knowledge, so I still don't get how you were in Peru, there is no way you live here on your own..."

"Lily, you're babbling.."he interrupts my rant.

" You know I always babble when something isn't right, hence the twenty-questions, and-"

"Lils..." Cody stops and grabs my wrist, giving me an earnest look. "We need to get you to safety..."

"But,Why?..."I ask, but there is both trepidation and pleading in his eyes, as I'm about to start wasting time to question things again."You know what? Just tell me everything when we get there, lets go." Wherever there is.. I think to myself... And possibly to Cody. Ya. Right.

Relief floods his eyes at my consent to continue on, but there is still a fear within them of a hidden threat that is posed. I slip my wrist out of his grasp and instead intertwine my fingers with his, squeezing his hand with reassurance.

He looks down at our hands, sort of stiff then he softens and looks at me and nods, locking eye contact in a moment that seems it could last for all tome and-Josh clears his throat. We look to him and he's standing with his arms crossed, his foot tapping in impatience and his facial expression is one that says "Lets-hurry-up-now,children."

Me and Cody both mutter separate words along the lines of "right, safety, got it, need to go," and we set off for Cody's apartment, which I still don't think exists...

When we reach the apartment, a lady that looks as cold as steel sits at the front desk. Cody walks up to her and checks in.

"Uh, my name is.... Jake Pines, and I was told that Cody Thompson would not be staying in his room for the time being, so is it alright if I stay there for a while? And can my friends check in a room as well?" Cody lies convincingly. The woman still looks hesitant though... She doesn't appear to be the type that gives in to a few teens that are strangers. And I'm not sure that what Cody is proposing is even legal....

"Why are you here?" She asks in a raspy, strong British accent.

"We have business with Balthazar Gustav." Josh speaks up with a serious look on his face. Who in the world is Balthazar Gustav??? , I think to myself in confusion.... Of course theres more confusion..The woman flushes white as a ghost as the look of suspicion wipes off her face and her mouth drops open.

"Why of course... I'm sorry that I questioned you... Let me just get a few keys.. And, uh, what were the other two's names?" She asks, addressing Cody now.

"This is..." Cody begins, his face flickering a teensy moment, showing he didn't know what to call me. "Kitty Brice." He says randomly. Yah. I need to intervene.

"Um, Im sorry, he just calls me Kitty...You see we're,um.....dating.." I say, trying to think of a good enough excuse to why he called me Kitty, and why did he even call me Kitty, and once I say the words I throw Cody a quick, wide-eyed glance when I realize what I said exactly.... and what I may have revealed. But he probably already knew I felt that way... He is my best friend... Cody only sprouts a smirky-smile at my words.

"....Um, ANYWAY...."I continue, turning back to the woman and shooting my gaze away from Cody's... anywhere but Cody's. "My name is actually... Uh, Laine... Laine Brice." I say, satisfied with my answer.

"Jaine. Cute." The woman says with no emotion, pursing her lips and combining me and Cody's names. I look to Cody again and he just smiles. So I smile too.

"And Im Carter. Carter Bentley." Josh says, and the women looks to him, fear still in her eyes.

"Right... Um..." She averts her eyes and hurriedly looks back to me and.....Jake...

"So, I'll just go get those keys... Mr. Thompson's room is number 123, which I assume you already knew... Room 124 is open but the only other room that's close is 132, which is the last room in that hall."she says.

"Then we'll just take rooms 123 and 124. The lady can't really stay by herself, anyways." Co-..Jake says.... Nah, I'm calling him Cody in my mind. Cody says this and the woman's eyes widen at his words. He blushes beet red and widens his eyes even wider. "The room does have two beds, right? Unless it's changed..." Cody says quickly, letting his cover slip through this distraction of complete and utter embarrassment. When he realizes this and she quirks a sharp eyebrow, he quickly corrects himself."I mean.... I heard that Cody always had a separate bed incase any guests stayed with him...heh, heh....." He corrects himself, laughing nervously.

"You're right, there are two beds....so, two rooms then? Rooms 123 and 124?" The lady asks, still narrowing her eyes in suspicion.

"Uh, yeah, that'd be great... Much cheaper too.." Cody says, nodding and shoving his hand in his pockets, obviously trying to get past the previous subject.

"Alright, well my name is Helga. Helga Bofaulamute. If there is anything that you need, my business card is on the counter. Here are your keys." Helga hands us our keys and I grab a business card as we make our way to what I presume to be the "safety." As we walk along, I examine the business card. Majorly long name...I think, tucking the card into my pocket for later use... Hey it might come in handy. You never know when Laine Brice will get in trouble here in Futureville.....Despite her forever attempts to stay out of it. Cuz' that's all they were. Attempts she made in vain...
