It took hours before anyone woke up, Sollux and John had thought of places to go and soon enough everyone woke up. Eridan wasn't going to let Karkat go anytime soon and that was a fact. Everyone was gathered around the livingroom as they conversated about where they would go.

"Okay, but this city is really small. Is there really any safe place to go?" John looked at everyone as he spoke. 

Gamzee thought for a few seconds before speaking himself, "I mean...do they all up and know we're here?" 

Karkat looked at Eridan who was staring at the ground. He was overall affected by everything that's been going on but he'll do anything for Karkat even if it costed him his life. Karkat placed his hand on Eridan's shoulder. That caught the seadweller's attention, he looked over at him. 

"I feel like a complete asshole for dragging all of you guys into this.." he sighed.

Eridan froze for a second before suddenly standing up. "No!" he shouted. "You don't need to apologize Kar, wwe're doing this because we want to. I love you Kar, alot and there's no way im going to let Dave get what he wants because you don't want this...right? You don't want him?.." faint purple-ish tears began welling up into his eyes. When he last confessed he wasn't able to get a response.

Karkat stood up, "Eridan." he then looked around at everyone then up at him. Everyone was watching, accept or reject? "I'm flushed for you too.." he looked down. 

Eridan couldn't believe it, happiness filled his eyes as he pulled him into a hug. Karkat tensed from the pain before hugging him back as to ignore it. It worked so far. 

John smiled before speaking, "Guys..I'm happy for you and I have good news." he spoke, looking at his phone. "Jake, Jade and Jane are helping us out, we need to get to my house."

Sollux thought. "We need a ride, ambushes are screaming. Especially at us." 

Kurloz walked in when he heard and smiled, grabbing his keys. Gamzee smiled lazily and got up, running out the door in the kitchen that led to the garage. Inside was a nice purple and white car with a window on the top to y'know make room for their large horns. "Let's go!" he shouted, sitting in shotgun.

Eridan sat on the left seat, Karkat and John sharing the middle since (in no offense) they were the thinnest. Sollux on the right seat. "Wow roomy." he commented. 

Kurloz smiled and turned on the engine and drove out of the garage after the door opened. He opened the top vent so him and gamzee could sit straight up. The tip of their horns outside in the fresh night breeze. 

The ride was silent, but it was a nice peacful silence. 

Oh but no time for rest, once they turned down he street John saw what he would never see. His house was in flames, Jane resting motionless out in the burning grass while Jake and Jade were in front, their clothes torn and burnt.
