Few Days Pass

After a few days Karkat had gotten over the things that had happened. Eridan began to hang out with him more often to make sure he was okay. They hung out after classes, came over to each others houses ect. It's rare to see the seadweller act so caring about a low blood but he actually cared about karkat. Well, eridan is flushed for karkat. He has been for a while but he can't muster up the courage to confess.

It was a normal school day and karkat was late for his first class. He cursed to himself before opening the door quickly.

"Late again, Mr. Vantas." The teacher pointed out.

"Yeah yeah, way to point out the obvious." He muttered before sitting down.

The teacher scoffed as he began his boring old lesson on literature.

"Hey, whats up with you?" A blonde boy, or Dave had asked.

Karkat looked over at him. "What are you talking about strider?"

"Well, your acting different and I noticed you've been hanging out with the fish dude, thought you hated him." Dave looked at karkat from behind his shades.

"Well you thought wrong and what's so bad if I do huh? I'm not stealing him from anyone am I?"

"Vantas, Strider!" The teacher shouted catching both their attention.

"This is not the time to be socializing, listen to the lesson or I will change your seats!"

Karkat grunted as Dave rolled his eyes. The school day went by quicker than usual and karkat waited on the steps of the hall way for eridan. Dave spotted him and walked over.

"Hey karkat, want to hang out today?" Dave asked, karkat looked at him.

"I'm busy today." Karkat replied.

"With fish dude? What do you guys even do anyways?"

"It's none of your buisness!" He shouted

Eridan was walking to the place where him and Karkat usually met, only to be greeted by him talking to Dave. He wondered what he wanted that had to do with karkat. He walked over to them.

"Hey kar, dave." Eridan greeted before karkat had gotten up.

Karkat gave Dave a look before quickly grabbing eridan's hand quickly running out of the school. Eridan was caught by surprise and yelped trying to catch up with him. Once they were far off from the school karkat stopped running.

"wwhat wwas that?" Eridan asked.

"Just strider, hes getting on my nerves." Karkat sighed

This wasn't the first time Dave had run into Karkat to try and make conversation. There was this one time when Dave tried talking karkat into the two going out and it got eridan a bit enraged. Karkat turned him down luckily.

"Seriously, he needs to knoww not to bother you, you obwiously don't like him."

Karkat lightly chuckled and smiled. "Your right about that."

Eridan slightly smiled back, blushing lightly realizing that they were still holding hands. Karkat's face turned a light shade of pink as he realized as well quickly letting go.

"S-sorry."

"It's alright." Eridan's face turned a darker shade of purple, thinking how the other's attitude changed over the times they spent together.

"Uh hey kar?"

Karkat looked up at the seadweller. "Yeah?"

Eridan took in a breath and sighed. "I'm flushed for you."
