I opened my eyes to see Ryder standing there. "What," I said not in the mood. "The pack is training this morning, so get up and get ready," Ryder said. He was wearing a shirt with the sleeves cut off to show his muscules and basketball shorts.

I got up out of bed. I went to the closet and put on a tank top and some work out shorts. I walked out of the closet to see Kellan sitting on the bed. "Ready to go train, monkey," I asked Kellan. He nodded. We walked down the grand stair case and out the back door. I stepped out in to the back yard.

There were boys in one group and girls in the other. I was the best figher in my fathers pack. My brothers and their mates were standing in the between the groups.

Kellan and I went and stood next to my brothers. Ryder and his beta stood on the porch so everyone could see. "Split up in two and practice , a girl and a guy, GO!," Ryder said with his 'alpha voice'.

I looked for the biggest guy in the group. He stood 6' 2. He looked almost exactly like Ryder but with blue eyes. I went up to him with Kellan trailing behind.

I poked him shoulder.

He turned around. "Do you need a partner," I asked him. "Why yes I do," he said looking me up an down. I made Kellan sit somewhere near us.

I got in my fighting stance. Ryder's beta, Micheal, came up. "Ready Go!!!"

An hour later, the guy I was fighting was laying on the ground panting. "Damn girl," he said. I let out a little laugh and started looking for Kellan.

He was standing next to Ryder watching my every move. I walked up to Ryder. "Hi," I said a little breathless. "Lets go inside he said as her dragged me in the house and in to his office. We got in his office and he pressed me up against the wall. He peppered kisses along my neck. "Ryder," I said. It came out as more of a moan.

"We need to talk," I said putting my hand on his chest.

THis seemed to stop him. "Ok, we can talk," he said sitting down behind his desk. I sat down and took a big breath trying to calm down. "Calm down, love," Ryder said giving me a weird look.

"Ok, I need to talk to you about why I showed up here and everything else. When I was little my dad used to always call me his princess. It is safe to say i was a HUGE daddys girl. My mom had always told me I was special. Once a week I would go out with my mom and just hang out. Each time we went out my mom seemed to be more distant. There was one point when she didn't go anymore. I would ask her if she had work to do, she would say no and walk out of the room. At the time I didn't understand why she would just no be near me. Some the days she wouldn't go anywhere with me I went to the orphange and hung out with kids. One day a little boy came in and he wanted to play so we played all day and that day it was decided that her would be my baby."

"Now I know why she did it. To keep me safe. I went in to her and mydad's room one day and saw a box open. I got curious so I looked in the box. The box was full of letters from some guy that went by H. I read almost all of them. They were all about the chossen one. I had no idea who that was until I got to one of the last letters. The letter stated what I was wearing the day I read the letter and I had never worn that outfit before."

"My dad then walked in and saw that I was sitting on their bed crying reading the letters. His face got so red. He started yelling and then he raised his hand as if to hit me. He started to swing and I closed my eyes and waited her the hit but it never came and I heard a smack but I didn't feel anything."

"I opened my eyes to see my mom on the floor with a hand to her cheek. I ran out of the room and in to my room. Alec and Daniel were sitting on my bed waiting for me with open arms. I went to sleep that night thinking that I will forgive my dad. That night I was woken up to Alec and Daniel gone and one of our maids told me my mom said to get some things and Kellan and leave and don't look. the sad part is the last image of my mom is her laying on the ground with a hand to her cheek. That is the last image I have of my mom. when I ran I didn't know the territories well as you can tell and that s how I ended up here," I finished wiping my tears.

Ryder walked over pulled me off the couch and in to a bear hug. "Let me take you out tonight," Ryder said looking in my eyes. "Ok, that sounds nice," I said barely above a whipser.

"Oh, and Kellan is with Beth and Micheal tonight. So you don't have to worry about him," He said. "Ok well, I am going to get ready," I said walking to the door. I turned around and said, "What should I wear tonight," Ryder started smiling like a mad man. "Something nice." was all he said as I walked out. Time to get ready I thought to my self.

I went up to Ryder's room and walked into the bathroom. I grabbed a towel and got in the shower. I washed my hair and body. I got out and brushed my hair and teeth.

I walked into the closet. I looked at dress after dress until one popped out at me. It was a light teal strapless . The dress was midthigh in the front and went down midcalf in the back.

I went back in the bathroom and turned on the curling wand. Once I curled my hair, I did my make up. I don't where a lot of make up so tonight it was just some mascara and some light tealish eyeshadow. There was a knock at the door.

I opened the door to see a very sexy looking Ryder with a white button down shirt and black dress pants with nice dress shoes. "You look beautiful," Ryder said giving me a little kiss. "You don't look so bad your self," I said with a little giggle. "Are you ready," Ryder asked me. "Lets get this show on the road." And with that we left for our first date.........
