Chapter 8

Hey guys sorry i havent been posting. I have been really busy with school. I will try to get some more chapters during the week but no promises.

 Chapter 8:

"Please put it on," Ryder begged. We were in the car when he randomly pulled over. "Jessa, please," Ryder asked once again. "Fine," I said giving up. He tied the blindfold. "Can you see anything."   "No" I said.

"Please don't be angry with me. I just wanted to surprise you." Ryder said. "Ok, ok" I sat back in my comfortable seat in Ryder's pick up truck.

Before we left we had gone down to the garage and I walked in a saw a pick up truck. It was a 1994 Ford F-150. I have only a couple of weaknesses. One old or vintage trucks, and country boys!

I heard the car stop. I also heard Ryder's door open. I felt Ryder grab my hand. He helped me out of the car. He put his hands behind my knees and picked me up bridal style. Ryder was walking for a good 10 minutes before he suddenly stopped. He set me down on the ground. I automatically missed the heat from Ryder.

"You can take the blind fold off now babe," Ryder whispered in my ear sending shivers down my back. I untied the blind fold and gasped at the sight in front of me.

In front of my was an old barn with twinkling lights.

Ryder slipped his hand in to mine as he led me inside. Inside were more twinkling lights. In the middle of the floor was a blanket with a picnic basket. Ryder led us to the picnic setting.

We sat down a started eating and laughing.

"So, tell me about you," I said taking a sip of my sweet tea. "Well, I have 3 brothers and 4 sisters," Ryder said. "Cool, I have always wanted sisters," I said interrupting him."Sometimes they are cool and others they are annoying," he said with a chuckle.

"I have always had things handed to me ever since I was little. A lot of people thought I was stuck up. In high school I was the bad boy player that all the girls wanted. When I was 16 my dad sat me down and gave me a reality check. I , then, realized that I was soon to become Alpha and I needed to stop acting foolish. So, yeah," Ryder finished.

Ryder's phone started to ring. "Hey............yeah.........ok we will be right there."

"We have to go. My dad has so business that he needs to discuss with me and the pack warriors," Ryder said. "Ok, lets go" I said gathering the picnic basket.

I didn't want this date to end cause I had a great time with Ryder.In the car it was silent except for the radio in the background.

When we got back to the pack house Ryder's dad was waiting on the porch with, who I asume were the pack warriors. Ryder turned to me. "Go inside and get comfortable. I will be back soon." He kissed my forehead.

I got out and walked to the porch. I had a sudden urge to go hug Ryder's dad. And that's exactly what I did. "Well hello, Miss Jessa," He said. "Hi," I whispered. "Go inside and I will talk to you when are meeting is done, ok," he said to me. "Ok, see you when you get back," I said as I walked to the door.

I walked up the stairs and went into Kellan's rom before Ryder's room.Kellan was sound asleep in his monkey pajamas.

I went into Ryder's rom after making sure Kellan was ok and his night light was on. I pick out some grey sweatpants and a tank top and headed to the bathroom for a relaxing shower. 

When I got out I brushed my hair and put it in a high bun. I went and checked on Kellan. I have always been a little over protective of Kellan. Once I checked on Kellan, again. I went back in to Ryder's room and looked at the shelves of movies. I pick 50 first dates and put that in the DVD player. I got under the covers and pressed play on the remote. 

about and hour and a half later Ryder walked into his room. He took off his shirt and pants and changed into red striped pajama pants. He got into bed with me. "How did the meeting go," I asked Ryder. "Good, well as good as a pack warriors meeting can get," He let out a little chuckle. I leaned my head on Ryder's chest and my eyes started to droop.

"I love you" Ryder whispered before darkness took over.
