---Shurti's POV ---

I met up with Neysa today and was so stressed out about everything.

I seriously never ever never thought I'd have to help my husband out this much.

The one thing I loved about Neysa is she can cheer up anyone within a matter of seconds.

I seriously felt so much better after talking to her.

I finally came home after talking to her.

I haven't seen Atif this week since his presentation was in a few days.

However, he walked inside a few seconds later.

"How's your project going?" I asked.

"It's good. Just getting a bit nervous," he said.

"It's okay," I said. "There's always apprehension."

He nodded and left to change.

I went downstairs to go and make his tea.

I seriously feel like the hate for him has dialed down.

I walked inside and he was busy on his laptop.

"Tea," I said.

"Thanks," he said.

"Hey, what made you make copies of my file?" He asked.

"I don't know. Just had a gut feeling that I should," I said.

"Okay," he said.

"Why don't you sound as confident as you should be? I know your nervous but still," I said.

"I don't know. I just don't believe I can do this. I mean, with saying it's canceled and then losing the file. It's just not enough time," he said.

"I believe in you," I said.

He looked at me like I grew another head.

"You do?" He asked.

"Ya. Trust me when I say that I don't hate you as much as I used to," I said.

"That's probably cause the guy you liked got engaged," he said.

That broke my heart.

"I'd forgotten about that," I said realizing that I forgot he was engaged.

"I'll just be leaving," I said and went downstairs to the backyard.

Seriously, why did he have to mention that? I had forgotten that he was engaged.

Yes, I spent time with him a few days back but I was so busy in making sure this project goes well that it slipped my mind.

I just sat there til I felt sleepy.

Then I decided to go back and he wasn't there so I just went to bed.
