---Atif's POV ---

Today was the big day. It took me so much time to get everything ready.

I left the house before anyone was awake.

"Inaya, what're you doing here so early?" I asked confused.

"Oh, just honestly checking the presentation. You know I'd want to everything to go right," she said.

"Same here," I said.

She left home to switch into business wear clothes and as she left Hussain walked in with some girl.

"Your here early," I said.

"Ya. Bhabi wanted you to have this today," he said.

"Is she not coming?" I asked taking the flash drive.

"She hasn't been feeling well," the girl said.

I looked over at Hussain waiting for an introduction.

"Oh. Maddie this is Atif and Atif this is Maddie," he said.

"Hello," she said.

"Hi," I said.

"So you all are coming today right?'' I asked.

"Yep," they said.

"Okay, that's perfect," I said.

"We will leave you alone. But bhabi said check everything before you present," he said.

"Okay," I said and they left.

I opened up the presentation and my eyes widened.

Everything was deleted!!

I found the flash drive my wife gave me the other day and everything was deleted from that as well.

So she was right, Inaya was in this for the money.

I plugged in the flash drive I got today and everything I needed showed up.

I saved a copy on the laptop and quickly called Shurti.

She wasn't answering and then I remembered that she wasn't feeling well so she's probably still sleeping.

I closed the flash drive and saw it had good luck with a smiley face written on the back of it.

A few hours later everything was set and it was showtime.

I saw all my friends in the audience all dressed up but to be honest I was seriously looking for my wife.

Once I saw her I sighed in relief. I don't know why but I did.

I began the presentation and once I started it Inaya looked at it in shock.

All the color from her face was gone and I honestly felt satisfied.

My presentation went on for about 45 minutes.

I thanked everyone for being here before they left, except my friends cause they stayed.

"Thanks for coming," I said.

"No problem. I didn't understand anything, but whatever," Shehry said.

"Where's Shurti? She was here, right?" I asked.

They all looked at each other.

"Guys," I said.

"Hospital," Hussian said.

"What?" I asked.

"Her brother got into an accident so she had to leave immediately," Shehry said.

"You guys didn't tell me this!" I said.

"She didn't want us to create a scene. She knew how important this is to you," Neysa said.

"Keep these things safe and out of Inaya's hands. I'm going to see her. Plus, he's my brother-in-law so I probably should," I said.

"Wait. Take these papers," Rubina said.

I didn't even realize she was here.

I nodded and took them and left.
