---Atif's POV ---
What a long week and we are ending it with Nivar's wedding today.
I don't know if she should be going to this or not but she said she's over him so she's held her stubbornness to go.
I got ready and then woke her up. She's been staying awake to make sure her brother is doing well.
Yep, she had him stay here and I honestly didn't mind. He was pretty cool to be around.
"You still sure you want to go?" I asked.
"This is coming from the guy that is already dressed," she said.
"Fair enough," I said.
She left to get ready and I left to see if my brother-in-law needed anything.
He was still asleep so I didn't bother waking him up.
Once she came downstairs, I'll admit I just looked at her for a few seconds.
"Done checking me out?" She asked.
"I wasn't checking you out!" I defended.
"Sure. Now, let's go," she said and we left.
The wedding got started and we all sat there quietly.
I was a bit suprised on how simple they kept everything.
It was almost over. They were about to be husband and wife and I was more suprised that my wife made it through the entire thing.
Maybe she has moved on.
Or maybe I spoke to soon. I saw her get up and leave and I left right after her.
"So clearly you are over him," I said catching up to her.
"Please don't start," she said.
"Why'd you come if you knew you couldn't handle it?" I asked.
"They're my friends. I had to come," she said.
"One of them is your friend and the other is the guy is that your still crazy about," I said.
"Can you please not start this here?" She asked.
"Why shouldn't I? I think people should know," I said.
"Know what? That I'm still in love with the guy that just became someone else's husband?" She asked.
"See! You still love him! I thought you were over him," I said.
"I thought so myself," she said sitting down on the little brick wall they made around the garden.
"God! I'm so mad at myself," she said.
"You wanna go home?" I asked.
"We can't. It's not over," she sighed and got up but I held her back.
"Are you crazy? You don't have to stay for it all. It's hurting you," I said.
"It's okay. I guess I have to watch it end and let my heart break fully so then I can make myself move on," she said.
"That's unhealthy on so many levels," I said.
"I have to go and do this. Plus, it'll be practice for future heartbreaks," she said.
"You serious right now? Future heartbreak?" I asked.
She nodded.
"Come on," she said and went to leave.
I got up and pulled her back.
"What're you doing?" She asked.
"Trying to figure out what exactly you are," I said.
"Do it later. There are people here!" She said.
"No, seriously what are you? One minute you say you are over him and the second you are sitting here upset about him and thinking that every guy is going to break your heart," I said.
"I'd hope not every guy," she said.
"Well, I know not every guy. How about you give us a chance?" I asked.
"Why would I do that when we are going to get a divorce?" She asked.
"Because I already told you I want to keep you around," I said.
"That was just the help you were getting talking," she said.
"Okay, not true. And also, because I love you," I said.
