so this was requested by velocitynine- , which was to write myself into The Flash. I couldn't turn this down omfg; I never really thought about writing myself into a TV Show. So I guess just read this as if you normally would and pretend I was an actual character I suppose; maybe you'll learn a few things about me (:

"Iris, this article is awesome," I breathe as I stare at the computer screen, eyes wide at the photo she had managed to snap of The Flash. I was more than jealous of how she got stuff like this.

She smiles at me before sliding the laptop screen to where it was facing her. "Thank you! I mean, it was just pure luck that I happened to snap that photo. Anyone could have gotten it."

"Oh come on," I smile, leaning back onto the couch. "The Flash has a soft spot for you and you know it."

She smiles, knowing that I was right. The Flash did visit her quite often when it came to writing articles and finding metahumans, which I was jealous over that too, but I was just glad that I got all of the latest news on the Black Canary. I even managed to figure out who she really was, but don't tell Iris that.

The door opens then behind us, causing Iris and I both to peep our heads over the couch to see Barry walk in. I wasn't going to lie; I've had a crush on Barry ever since Iris first introduced me to him. He was always sweeter than any of the other guys that were in our class and I always felt sorry for him. I mean, he lost his mom. That's hard on someone at such a young age.

"Hey Barry," I smile at him, sitting up farther on the couch. "Iris was just showing me her latest article on The Flash. You should read it."

Barry's eyes flick to me for a moment before over to Iris. "I thought Joe told you to stop writing those articles?"

"I told you Barry," she says, a smile still on her face. That was the thing about Iris; she always knew how to turn anything negative into a positive. "I have to tell people about the streak in Central City. He's helped so many people. They deserve to know."

"And now she has proof," I smile as I glance over at the computer screen, staring at the photo of the man behind the mask. His face was blurred and so was the rest of his body as lightning flashed behind him, but it was something alright.

Barry walks over to the computer screen then, dropping his jacket onto the arm of the couch. He stares closely at the image like I had a few moments ago, only his face said something else that I couldn't read. It was almost like he was proud but hesitant at the same time.

"Iris..." Barry fades out before looking away from the screen. "I just don't want you getting hurt. I'm with Joe on this one-"

"Barry, I know, okay? I know that this is dangerous, but so is everything that The Flash is doing for people. He's saving people's lives and deserves to be recognized," Iris nods this time, her smile starting to fade but not her stubbornness. "I'm not going to stop writing these articles until people know who he is and what he's doing."

Barry looks down at me then, sighing. "She's your friend; you talk her out of this."

"I would, but like you said, she's my friend," I say, glancing back at the computer screen. "I think what she's doing is a good thing. Plus, she's not alone."
