"Why can't you just tell me where you're taking me?" I smile as I look over at Stiles, who was focused intently as he stared at the road. School had ended about fifteen minutes ago, which resulted in Stiles tugging me along into his blue jeep and not telling me where we were going. All I knew was that it was a surprise.
Stiles' lips curl upwards at the corners. "You'll love it, I know you will."
"I'd love it even more if you told me where "it" even was," I say as I roll my eyes, wishing he would just let me in on the secret. I've always hated keeping secrets and being kept from them, so that explains my curiosity.
Stiles takes his hand off the seat as he grabs my hand, squeezing it tight, not taking his eyes off the road. "We're almost there, okay?"
I sighed, but I wasn't all that worried anymore. Stiles' soft touch sent sparks throughout my body, making me wish that we weren't in his Jeep driving to God knows where. I wanted to be back at home, curled up with him on the couch like what we usually did after school. Stiles always insisted on re-watched Star Wars, but it always ended with me either falling asleep in his arms or a random make-out session, which always made Stiles aggravated because I never saw the whole movie through. I knew though that he didn't mind all that much.
My green eyes watch the buildings and streetlights pass by, trying to let my mind drift, but it was a little hard with Stiles' fingers intertwined with my own. A part of me always hated that being in his presence drove me almost mad, but in a sense, I enjoyed it. Sure, he kept me from focusing in class, but he was the light that I needed in my life. As I've told him before many times and vice versa, I loved him.
"Okay, this is the place," Stiles grins as he pull into a parking space. My eyes scan the surrounding buildings, looking for the place Stiles brought me to before my eyes land on a bright and colorful sign that read:
Candice's Candy Shop
My stomach growls just then, along with a grin forming on my face. "A candy shop?"
"Aren't caramels your favorite?" Stiles jokes before pulling his hand away from mine, turing and opening the jeep door, which resulted in a loud creaking sound. I do the same as I quickly follow beside Stiles inside, our hands finding one another once again.
The moment I stepped inside, the smell hit me in a giant wave. Peppermint and toffee swirled into my nostrils as I closed my eyes, taking it all in. It's been a long time since I've been to a candy shop, and Stiles bringing me here just brought back good memories.
"Pick something out you like," Stiles says as his eyes wander the store. "Whatever you want I'll buy it."
I grin at this, knowing that he wasn't kidding. He's bought stuff for me before, but those things weren't candy. Candy was my favorite; or in other words, lets just say that Stiles might be spending a little more than he planned to today.
I trail away from Stiles as I walk to one of the counters, my eyes scanning every single little piece inside. There were strands of colored twizlers, multiple little gummy bear shaped gels, and most importantly, what I had my eyes set on, was little caramel filled turtles.
A woman looks up at me before walking over, smiling a sweet smile as she nodded towards the cabinet. "Anything I can get you?"
Stiles walks up behind me as I nod my head, pointing at the turtles. "I'll take two of those."
"How'd I know you'd pick those out?" Stiles laughs as he kneels down to look inside. "I guessed either those or the peanut brittle."
I perk up after he mentions peanut brittle. "Peanut brittle? Give me some of that too."
Stiles looks over his shoulder at me as I laugh, the woman behind the counter continuing to smile at us. "Here you guys go; two turtles and two chunks of peanut brittle."
I take the little baggie from her as Stiles pulls out his wallet, pulling out a ten dollar bill before handing it to the lady. She gives him his change as he stuffs in back into his wallet, but he barely gets it in there before I'm taking his hand and tugging him out of the candy shop, wanting nothing more than to get home so we could curl up on the couch together and share the candy.
"Why such the rush?" Stiles asks as we pile into his jeep. I slam the door shut beside me as he does as well, turning to me to wait for an answer.
I smile the goofiest of smiles I ever have. "We need to get back so I can finally watch Star Wars."
Stiles raises an eyebrow at me. "Really? I was thinking we'd skip that and go straight to the make-out session..."
I roll my eyes at him, but the smile stays on my face. "After we eat the candy, of course."
"Food is always coming in between the two of us, isn't it?" Stiles jokes, but in a sense he was right. Eating has always been one of my favorite hobbies.
Instead of answering him, however, I lean across the seat and place a kiss on his lips, tasting the sweet, electrifying taste of chocolate on them.

Ayeee first time I've wrote about a gay ship and tbh I kinda like it. Corey and Stiles are so adorable I just can't like alsjdfjdsjd. But this was inspired by David and by a little scene I read in a book today at school, so thus this was created.
Dedicated to boywonders because he wouldn't shut his mouth about me writing it. Are you happy now, David? I hope you are.
Vote and comment and all that jazz!
