He fell to the floor and closed his eyes. Breathing slowly, with minimum movement, the Doctor rested, for those were the last moments of him in this body. The Doctor was unsure of what were next to come, so he simply awaited his fate.
His chest movement was slow, very slow, as a white light, which would pierce the eyes of anybody observing such a phenomenon, emerged from the frail, old body of his. The light became brighter and brighter as if it were the rays of the sun, only white, rising from the horizon. Anyone observing this would be more amazed than if they were entering Heaven for the first time, with the revelation that it was real.
Finally, the light shone climatically, forcing the eyes of any observers shut, defending their pupils from certain blindness. The light continued for longer.
Just when it was thought that it would never stop, the heavenly light retreated, dimmer and dimmer, finally revealing the face of the Doctor.
But now, another body lay in its place.
