Chapter 7

Amelia's  POV

I had entered school after that little incident with Ethan and Jade and Alaina followed in pursuit but made sure to leave a bit of a distance. I glanced over my shoulder only to find the girls with smiles as wide as the Chesire cat. I huffed and turned around and continued making my way towards chemistry.

I finally got to chemistry and sat down at one of the middle tables with Jade and Alaina. They sat opposite me so their backs were facing the front.

"Niklaus soooo likes you." gushed Jade. I sighed knowing they won't drop this topic PLUS I HAVE A BOYFRIEND PEOPLE!

"Why do think that?" I innocently asked. Their jaws dropped.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN 'why do you think that'?!" screamed Alaina.

"Calm down." I said rolling my eyes. As if on cue, the door swings open and the teach-wait, Niklaus?! Why is he here? oh no.... He has this class with me. oh, this is bad. very bad. I looked towards the girl and found them smirking and having this glint in their eye. uh oh....

"Uh...guys?" I stuttered. They looked at me mischievously. Niklaus had this look on his face and I was in fear and shock. When it comes to my 2 best friends, it can get very nasty.

Soon the girls had looked at me and ignored the fact Niklaus was in the class and we continued to talk like we did before we were interrupted by the door. The teacher came in after 10 minutes and started the class.

"Ok, today I have set an assignment and they are to be done in partners. I will be choosing the partners." said Mr whatever-his-name-is. "Kylie and James, Stefan and Brittany......" he continued while a zoned out. I could feel somebody staring at me. I turned around and Niklaus was staring at me. We locked eyes and he gave me a smirk and I gave him a confused look until I heard my name.

"Ah Amelia! you will be working with...." he said, "Niklaus." Mr whatever-his-name-is finished off. The girls were looking at me amused and I could tell they tried to stifle in their laughter but covered it up by going into a fit of coughs. I glared at them and that just seemed to trigger it. They were now full-on laughing their ass off.

I could feel someone's presence behind me and the body heat could explain it all. It was Niklaus. My breathing hitched when he chuckled. I hate this already. I groaned knowing there is no way out of this.

"Ah love, I guess were inseparable, huh?" Niklaus said lowly into my ear. I shivered and by the looks of it I could tell he found this rather quite amusing. If that's how he is gonna play...well 2 can play that game,buddy.

"I don't mind." I whispered back just as low as him. He looked shocked and taken aback when I had that retort. Hah! Serves him right. He snapped out of his little shock session and embarrassingly sat down next to me. I smirked in victory.

I looked at the girls and Jade got stuck with a blonde with blue eyes. Alaina got stuck with a chesnut hair and hazel eyes. The girls were shocked but the boys were as well. Oh, I probably wasn't that quiet.

"So....What topic do you want to do? But first, is it ok if we did it at your house?" Niklaus asked. I thought about it. I looked at the girls and saw that they had smiles plastered on their faces and were literally bouncing in the seat. I rolled my eyes, they will never get over this.

"Sure but...I know Jade and Alaina here would like to do the assignment in my house as well and that means that they would need to bring their partners as well." I said leaving no room for argument, I heard the girls grumble words under their breath and turned to wards their partners, silently asking if they could. The guys chuckled and nodded. I looked at Niklaus and asked him, "Do you know where i live? Or are you gonna follow behind my car like a stalker?"

"Eh. I'll follow your car like a creepy, rich stalker." he replied cockily. I smirked.

"Whatever floats your boat, love." I replied with just as much cockiness. The bell rang signalling for the students to head to their next class. I got up leaving Ethan gawking at me as I strutted out of the classroom.
