Chapter 12

Amelia's POV

Me and Sarah are currently in my room talking about boys. Unlike me, she doesn't have a boyfriend, she is 16, meaning 2 years younger than me.

"So ...." Sarah started. I didn't know what she was talking about, so I asked.

"So....what?" I asked her, curious. She groaned and rolled her eyes, muttering some things under her breath. I looked at her expectantly, waiting for her to answer.

"I'm pretty sure my brother has a thing for you...." She said in an sing-song voice. I sighed and rolled my eyes. I have no idea why she thinks that. I mean sure, we are working on a project together and all and we are friends but that's it.

"No, Sarah. He doesn't. He can't anyway. I have Ethan remember? My boyfriend....Ring a bell?" I whined and stated. Sarah sighed dramatically and groaned over and over.

"Ugh! Of course I remember! But he totally has the hots for you. That's obvious. Plus, you guys would look really good together." She said and added a wink. I rolled my eyes. She won't let this go will she?

"No, I'm not letting this o, if that's what you're thinking. You guys will looks cute together! Trust me!" She begged. I was shocked with how she knew what I was thinking. I rolled my eyes again and sighed.

"Sarah....I have a boyfriend. I mean, have you even met Ethan or seen him yet?" I asked. She hesitated but then sighed in defeat. I smirked in victory.

Axel's POV (I decided to give him a chance too ;) )

I was in the game room with Niklaus, playing COD. I was losing so badly to Nik.

"Nik! What the hell, man?! How? Just how?"I shouted and banged my head against the back of the sofa. He chuckled and shook his head.

"This is not funny! Ughhhhh!" I complained. I know I was acting childish and that sucked but how was I beaten at 5 games in a row?!

"Well, mate. It's sure is hilarious for me." He said. I wanted to pull my hair out. My reputation and record in COD has been beaten! How?

"This isn't fair, at all." I pouted. He just laughed and laid his head back on the sofa. I laid myself on my back on the floor with my arm under my head. It was silent for 2 minutes before I broke it when an idea popped out. I smirked evilly at the plan that was already forming in my mind.

"Psst, Nik. Nik. Wanna go scare the girls?" I whispered. He lifted is head up and looked at me with a cunning look. I smirked and asked.

"What do you have in mind, mate?" He laughed.

"Do you have a way to the roof? And I need papers and envelopes, a pen, string, pebble and finally 2 water guns filled to the brim with water." He listed. Woah, I don't know what the hell he is thinking but it sounds good. I got some papers and envelopes from the study, a pebble from my balcony, a pen from my bag and string from one of my cupboards and the water guns from my small store room in my room, filled it up with water before giving it to him.

"Here," I gave it to him and he nodded, "What you gonna do with it?" He shook his head and told me to wait. I groaned and laid back on the sofa and grabbed the small football, throwing it up in the air.

It's been like 5 minutes and Nik hasn't finished. I groaned again, bored.

"Dude! What's taking so-" I was cut off by him screaming,

"I'M DONE!" I sighed in relief and looked at him, waiting for an explanation. He looked at me and explained.

"So first, I'm going to head to the roof, once you show me where the exit to the roof, that is. Once on the roof, I will drop the first letter and use the string and pebble to knock on their balcony window, distracting them while you slide the second letter under their door and quickly open the door then closing it, creating another distraction. After that, we will wait at the back door and spray them with water using the guns. They will want to chase us so we must figure out a way to escape them before we are pushed into your back pool and instead push them in there instead. Understood?" Nik explained. I stood there completely dumbfounded and utterly shocked. How in the bloody world did he plan this so fast? Not even I can do that in half and hour.

"How? When? What? How on earth did you plan that in just half an hour?" I asked perplexed. He just shook his head and chuckled to himself. I muttered incoherent words under my breath before recalling what I need to do.

"Come on. I'm gonna show you the exit to the roof." I grumbled. He smirked and motioned for me to lead the way.

I lead him to the small door and told him that the exit to the roof was here. He gave me one letter in exchange I gave him one water gun. I nodded to him in agreement and he nodded back.

My signal to slip in the letter and quickly close the door is when I hear the girls squealing or whatever.

Few minutes later, I heard shuffling and the 2 girls whispering to each other. I slid in the letter from under the door and quickly opened and shut the door before running down the stair and meeting Nik at the back door.

We both had our guns ready and were waiting for the girls to come down. 5 minutes later we heard some shuffling and whispering before the back door opened.

Nik signalled using his hands to count down and mouthed the numbers.

"Three, two, one. GO!" And there they were, clueless. Me and Nik nodded towards each other and immediately we shot the girls with water. When we finished, the girls were furious. I had just ruined my sister's dinner dress and Nik ruined Sarah's dress for tonight.

I tried to hold in my laughter, but I couldn't so I ended up doubling over in laughter. Nik kept a straight and serious face on but after a glance at me, he blended over laughing like a hyena.

We were laughing so much we didn't realise the girl already taking off their heels and putting it aside and got ready to chase us. Me and Nik nodded at each other knowing what to do and ran towards the pools end. We saw the girls chasing us all the way and before they could push us in, we side-stepped and they fell straight into the pool. Wetting themselves.

Me and Nik couldn't stop laughing so we rolled all over the grass laughing our butts off.
